This is what happens when you go full tilt into AAA games with a 5-6 year release cycle. Good job cutting out AA smaller, more frequent releases, Sony. There will be a time where people stop buying these repackages/remakes/remasters, and they are not prepared.

There is no other company who can re-release a game as a special edition like this and get shit for it.

You have two GOTY caliber games and a new season of TV coming out. Of course they'd do more to push people to buy both games. A lot of people will be watching Season 1 for the first time because the hype around Season 2. A combo for both games for ~100 will probably have some success.

It's funny to see the same people complaining about this are the same people who downplay Sony's transmedia strategy assuming it would fail or thinking that the show isn't successful.
