This is one game where provided it hits a solid 30, I'll be happy with turning the visuals to max.

Its not Resident Evil; even by the standards of the Silent Hill franchise its by far the least action-orientated of the original trilogy.

I agree with this, and i don't like the faster camera movement in the stream because the combination of high frame rate+and mouse control, psychological horror games in my personal opinion, they needs slow movement (up to a certain point of course) and being cinematic as much as possible!

Watch the stream of the japanese guys of the ps5 version, it seems to me that the fog in the spanish streamer's video is slightly less present compared to the ps5 version because he reduced the settings from epic to high ? It seems slightly more present in the ps5 version so maybe some settings affect the fog in the pc version ?

Not adventures and puzzles

Keep the puzzles to a minimum. Once you start loading up each stage with endless puzzles it becomes tedious

if a game doesn't have a focus on puzzles, it's not an action adventure.

Ocarina of Time is an action adventure precisely because it has a big component of the game that is focused on puzzles. if it didn't have that it wouldn't be an action adventure

good example: Resident Evil 1 is an action adventure. Resident Evil 4 is not.

Maybe the whole thing is made with the intention to portrait lying figures in the same way or very similar to the original

but not much else in the game is a portrayal of the original, it has an entire 3rd person camera and entirely new combat system. Surely they could animate enemies to not look rubbish?

For me it's very faithful, considering the differences you already wrote, in the general atmosphere, and enemies weird animation was a thing of the original with a specific purpose, we'll see how things will go for the remake! The build that some streamers are playing is an old build because there is no the new pick up animation showed in a video some time ago!

My stance from the first trailer was that the game is visually breathtaking when exclusively looking at the environment. The problem is everything else looks bland and soulless and this gameplay footage sadly confirms that. Nothing can and ever will replace the original. The game was made by an extremely passionate team of creative people sharing a unified vision for the game. By the very nature of the game's original invention being something like that, it automatically means any attempt to remake it will fall short.

Glad to hear it.

I was disappointed with the initial trailers but all the recent footage has looked absolutely solid, even if some things aren't 100% where I'd want them it overall seems to largely do justice.

What I did see: about 10 minutes later there's an enemy stuck in a car. I hope it doesn't have too many of those bugs..

We don't know if it will have denuvo before the release, and the builds in the hands of streamers it should be an old build according to what a guy who claims to be in the preview program launched by konami, he wrote this on the official reddit dedicate to the game. However the version in the hands of the streamers it should be denuvo free.
