Where does what you posted, from their Tweet with translation, say anything about a game? I don't see that word.

Because Geoff Keighley wouldn't present a "generation defining" Doritos or Moutain Dew Ad... so there's only one other thing connected to him it might be.

It will be the opener of the show, announced by a visibly emotional Geoff and then it will be a 5 second teaser for an upcoming trailer in January.

Worst thing is that other companies will follow this example and we will see a lot more ‘teaser for a later trailer’ in the upcoming editions, which eventually will kill the event and makes Keighley go bankrupt snd homeless.

The only things that I could think would come close are the Witcher 4 or whatever ND's game ends up being. Since we only got cinematics of those two and they are two massive devs that always deliver.

The ones that it was probably about (TW4, Elden Ring, Intergalactic, Borderlands 4) fell absolutely flat for me.

But the ‘smaller’ stuff like Okami II, Ueda’s game, Onimusha were all really exciting.

Hard to say because we haven't played the games. If Witcher 4 or the Intergalactic game end up being generation defining games well then it was shown you just didn't get to see that in the trailer.
