2025 is just around the corner, its coming, dont throw them clown masks in the bin just yet.

I think they will anounce it with either Steam Deck 2 or a new type of Steam machine.

Well Valve had a tie in to the Steam Store and the event, someone must have read into and assumed Half-Life 3.

Half-Life 3 will be an event onto itself and will used to sell Fremont or Deckard. Not some silly game show.

Valve and Rockstar are two companies that don't need the platform that the TGAs provides to promo their games.

Rockstar could shadow drop a trailer tomorrow on Youtube that gets more views in a weekend than the entire TGA audience. The franchise is a cultural phenomenon that transcends the gaming industry.

A new ND game will "blow peoples minds"????

Doesnt everybody already Know they are working on a. New game?
So yeah, it really turned out it was the Nughty Dog's game that Shier was talking about saying it will blow your mind. Like or or not. It really turned out to be the biggest annoucement at this show

Some people really thought one of the richest companies in the industry would pay Geoff Keighly to announce their game for them.

There have been rumors of this game for almost 19 years and every year dumb asses fall for it..

Give it up
To be fair, they have tried to develop both Half Life episode 3, a half life spin off by Arkane and half life 3 at varying points, and made Half Life Alyx. So of course there’s gonna be rumors. They have been developing half life games most of that time.

Easy money: Spending 10 years contributing to open source projects making Windows games run on Linux with no upside.
They upside is they get 30% of most sales on their service for hosting files (its way more involved than that obviously...) on their cloud instance. Then they get to spend 10 years working on passion projects and moving their desks around constantly.
