This would be a good thing to bring up in 2018, they've done this exact format for all the recent WRPG Creed games. Odyssey, you could play as a guy or a girl and you could romance both guys and girls with either, same for Valhalla.

Mirage didn't have it cause there you play as an established character so there's no separate romance options.

It's nothing new for the franchise, or at least the recent iterations.

There are other legitimate things like Ubi caving into the ragers and censoring certain parts of the game and world scenery becoming indestructible, I don't think they should have done that. It's basically sending a signal to the quote unquote chuds that Ubi caved.

It’s really revealing how selective the outrage is. Rise of Ronin came and is also an action samurai game and also has romance options and also allows for gay romance and no one made a peep. This drama is just for clicks, sad to see so many gamers falling for it.

It sometimes seems like gamers are fighting a losing battle with this shit - because between the perpetually online woke crowd and the perpetually online incel crowd that will not pass up on any opportunity to see a female ass on the screen or some lesbian action, it seems like gamers actually want this stuff. So the audience who remembers when Assassin Creed games just had badass normal characters like Ezio and Altair and Connor and just want to go back to that, they seem outnumbered.
