I think I dont like valve anymore.
Theyre just lame dota 2 people now. And the steams is just turning into a mobile app store. QUALITY WISE. Burn.
http://www.reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap/I got Windows cheap on http://www.reddit.com/r/softwareswap but it looks like they've brought the hammer down and banned the sale of Windows keys.
I went to top up my Myki online since i go back to work tomorrow and they added 81 fucken zones online. It was literally 2 zones last year. 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT. THE. FUCK.
What do i do? I used to put travel from zone 1 to zone 1 because i lived in a zone 1 suburb and went to the city (which is also zone 1), but now it wont even let me add 1 to 1. I have to work out which of the 81 fucken zones i have to click on. The PDF on the site only has 5 zones! and it doesn't even make sense!

Trying to do myki pass btw.
This is using a Micro ATX mobo in a full ATX case (this should work fine but I've never personally tried it).
In other news, A Link Between Worlds is goddamn amazing, holy shit. Not sure I can go back to trudging through my Twilight Princess playthrough after this.
Not 100% sure, but I think it works like this from the start of 2015:Edit. Just tried and realised you said you couldn't do 1 to 1 neither could I. Maybe do zone 1 to 2 as they changed the fare to be the same cost across zones 1and2 as a zone 1 fare this year?
Not 100% sure, but I think it works like this from the start of 2015:
If you travel only in zone 2, you pay for zone 2.
If you travel only in zone 1, you pay for zone 1.
If your travel at any time that day includes both zone 1 and zone 2, you pay for zone 1.
In other news, Big Hero 6 is pretty good. I'd place it just above Wreck it Ralph and just below Frozen in terms of Disney stuff. Feast was brilliant.
http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2015/01/2400-ms-dos-games-are-now-free-online-some-of-them-are-porn/The Internet Archive just dumped nearly 2400 old MS-DOS video games into an easy-to-navigate repository. Every single one of the games is free to play in your browser. Some of the games are classics from your youth. Some of them are hilariously obscure. And some of them are porn — which is something you probably didn’t realise existed on MS-DOS.
The first thing you’ll notice when you dive into the new MS-DOS game library is just how impossibly large it seems. It’s got everything! Street Fighter II? Yup. Sim City? Uh huh. Duke Nukem 3D? Of course! The new additions build on previous Internet Archive projects that brought hundreds of arcade games and loads of free software to the web.
Gaz, for shame you haven't posted about this:

edit: Just played some Stunt Driver, here's the manual you need for DRM
edit2: This is better "stunt" game, Stunts https://archive.org/details/msdos_Stunts_1990
Sorry Jambo, busy playing Budokan!
So, how do I find out who gifted me something on Steam after I already redeemed it? Been trying to figure it out and it's driving me batshit. I presume I am missing something really fucking obvious.
Paying for Zone 1 automatically covers you for travel in Zone 2, there's no need to pay for "both" (as in the previous "Zone 1+2" tickets). At least as I understand the new charges.Yeah that sounds about right but considering Gez only travels in zone 1 only might as well get a pass that covers both for the same price.
Is this actually legal to play? They have a DMCA exemption to "archive" the games, but I didn't read that there's an included license to actually play the games if you don't already own them elsewhere. Not that it matters to most, I'm sure, just interested in the technicalities...

Yeah, I was under the impression Zone 1 just covered you for Zone 2 automatically, without extra cost. Maybe it's meant to, but their site isn't ready yet. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.Except when doing Myki pass you have no option but to pay for Zone 1 + 2, you can't do Zone 1-1 like you previously could.
Isn't public domain granted in the US 75 years after publication or the author's death (thanks, Disney), whoever that may be with regards to games? Besides, stuff like Duke Nukem 3D are still being sold (albeit slightly different editions). I'm still skeptical it's strictly above board, though I guess archive.org must've done their homework.I believe they are, they have movies, books, etc as well, all public domain

Public domain is a legal term that describes a work or product that is not protected by copyright. The copyright protection an item in the public domain may have 1) expired, 2) been released by the author, or 3) never existed in the first place. Public domain items are publicly available and can be freely accessed and redistributed.
Many different items can be labeled as "public domain." For example, books, speeches, poems, artwork, songs, and videos can all be made freely available to the public. In the computing world, "public domain" is often used to refer to software programs that are offered to the public without copyright restrictions.
Power finally came back on here. 36 areas around Melbourne has/had no power. It went from above Melbourne down to Rosebud. So they can't run half the city on a hot day? This summer is going to be fucked if that's the case.

Except when doing Myki pass you have no option but to pay for Zone 1 + 2, you can't do Zone 1-1 like you previously could. Over 30 days it costs 6 bux more now. I couldn't give a toss about zone 2 as i never travel in it. I don't give a crap about the extra 6 bux but i was under the impression that things where meant to be cheaper in 2015, it seems like they took it out on Myki Pass holders.
Youre welcome!
Shoulda got an email saying who sent it to you!
yeeeeeeeeeeesssss Danganronpa 1 back on saaale on psn!!
just in time for my flight on friday too![]()
The SMB theme is technically jazz, so it sort of fits. If the Muzak curator was some old guy who's never played a video game in his life then heard it out of context, I could see how it could merit inclusion.I heard Super Mario music as the waiting music when I called the tech support company my workplace is partnered with. It isn't Nintendo.
The music. The MUSIC.In other news, A Link Between Worlds is goddamn amazing, holy shit. Not sure I can go back to trudging through my Twilight Princess playthrough after this.
Oh wow.So I went and did a crazy thing and made a Patreon to help support my Old Game Mags and Video Game Art Archive
Working to scan in and supply cool stuff like:
at the highest resolutions possible and curating magazines scans like:
Yay, maybe? Certainly not quitting my day job, but this stuff takes and awful long time to do![]()
How are you off for actual magazines? I have a boatload of Hypers (I think all of them up until around issue 100ish?) and I'd rather see them go somewhere that would value them than chuck them out.So I went and did a crazy thing and made a Patreon to help support my Old Game Mags and Video Game Art Archive

Anyone have any recommendations for an Insurance Company? Need Car and Home.
I suggest a selfie stick.Anyone know a place I can get a good smartphone mini-tripod. I already have a mid size one for my SLR, I just want something to go on a table.
Or are those one from the thousands of phone accessory kiosks fine?
I'll get one of each, the gorilla pod to stablise my phone and a selfie-stick to beat you about the arms and legs.
soz, selfie-sticks are a bone of contention in my circle of friends. dunno, it's just a thing, like tim tams, forum trolls or gun violence.
