I haven’t played that so no idea.
I would compare it to something like The Outer Worlds but in a fantasy setting and with light years better combat and maps.
Map layout reminds me of Indiana Jones, decent sized areas packed with content and nooks and crannies to find stuff in.
The real downside is really how static it is with little interactivity and life. There is no life simulation running here.

Since it was added to PS Plus I'm thinking of trying out Forspoken now. You really liked it?
I wasn't a huge fan of the demo so I never bought the game. But I thought the mid 60s metacritic seemed overly harsh.
But since it's on a sub service, seems fine enough to play (like Avowed)

The characters are all the same. Fugly, colorful, and of course tons of fugly women as a priority somehow.
So again, like Forespoken, according to many other people that had a blast with it despite it not being GOTY.

When I'm bringing this up I'm not referring to you... but many other people in this thread trashed it all the same but turn a blind eye to the same sorts of issues with Avowed. Like it's OK to shit on the character designs of Concord and mock it ad nauseum but suddenly it's just fine when it's an exclusive game on my platform of choice.

Best it is going to do is 20k, I think. Like I said earlier, the game is overpriced.

No bro I haven't. I was interested years ago, but I won't support the product for personal reasons, though I absolutely don't think less of anyone else for enjoying it. Just to clarify, I wasn't stating my opinion on the game, I was trying to do a summary of the current situation that skips all of the platform warring back and forth, as I think that shit just kills the IQ of the conversation to the extent that it literally kills the discourse, and it's become so prevalent on this forum as of late that it's impossible to have a discussion on anything without people bringing it up. I miss when platform warriors were banned, but they're given so much leeway now and I don't really get why.

I can post the actual NPCs in the game....I posted one above. They are all goofy, it doesn't disprove my point that the character/art design in this game is unappealing Concord levels of ASS. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy it.
