Those are garish colors? Most of the females aren't good looking, I'll give you that, but to say this is equivalent to Concord's design is a huge reach, IMO. There are, I agree, way too many women as speaking NPC roles in this game to the point that it feels unnatural. Both failed.
Some are just arguing that Avowed is less of a failure, like that's an accomplishment.
Point was that Concord got flamed by even more people who didn't play it, most of which we now see defending Avowed while complaining that people didn't play it.
That's why I said, keep the same energy. What goes around, comes around.

Like… from what I’ve played, yeah… it’s a solid 7 experience. Nothing more. Nothing less. Color palate sucks (which I suspect is the reason folks are saying it’s woke), but otherwise, bog standard rpg/adventure fare.

Except that most of the negatives about Concord had nothing to do with the actual gameplay. If I or someone else were to criticize Concord for gameplay the yeah.....we should be called out for never actually playing the game. Likewise, if someone says Avowed is a bad game then asking that person has played the game is perfectly reasonable.
