Yhea, but I feel as AR are more steady in PvP. I'll probably use the cannon in PvE, it's too good to not use, but I can't say im finding it easy to use. It'll probably grow on me though!
It's the closet thing to facial hair we've gotten yet!

If the Titan can survive a Golden Gun shot then Hunters should have some damage resistance too. Also you have to set up Golden Gun and Arc Blade or else you will just waste them. First Of Havoc and Nova Bomb are just about guaranteed kills.
So yes Hunter supers should be over-powered because they require more skill.

Vanguard stuff is for people who don't like PvP.
I had a difficult time with AR until I started sliding into crouch/crouching to mainly aim. It helps steady it out a tremendous amount.

I haven't put much effort into leveling up the different factions, personally. I was repping Dead Orbit for a while, then I switched to FWC, then I just went back to the Vanguard. You can "represent" a faction by buying a cosmetic item from them and wearing it in PvE. Past a certain level you start earning points for the Vanguard when you play PvE, but when you equip a cosmetic item for a faction you then earn points for that faction. Those points earn you reputation. The marks system is a little different, and I'm less clear on that.
So to answer your question: what I've been doing past level twenty is playing tons of 3v3 cause it's fun as hell, and occasionally playing Strikes. The Heroic Weekly is REALLY fun with a good team, as are some of the normal hard strikes. Just play whatever is fun to you, and you'll get good gear eventually.
None of the classes can ADS while using their movement ability, and it makes me really sad.
Sweet. Gonna have to start doing that more.

When I first booted up the game, it bought the lack of chat options were stifling. The world felt a bit anti-social and I felt restricted and shut in.
However, I soon started adding people in game and after a day or so I had a couple of dozen active members on my FL. Since then, the game has been incredibly social. People joining my games mid way, messages for different activities constantly, and every single experience has been positive with all players being pleasant and friendly.
The social experience here is much more personal than a standard online game with public chat, and doesn't allow the opportunity for off the cuff comments which can lead to nastiness and bickering. The only way to communicate fully is to actively add someone and speak to them directly via voice chat, that just makes people far more considerate.
I think it was a really smart move.
Now they need to streamline it. Add some QOL options like the ability to request your match made team switches to a fire team without having to click through both other player's menus, or a flag you could set so if you're running next to another player during a story mission and you both head into a restricted spawn area you sync up to each other and form a party. Things like this would make the players feel more connected without having to add a local chat and have the game fall fowl to the downsides of Internet personalities.

I'll try this out, I've got a pretty strong AR that I haven't had much luck with yet.
How so?
The trick I found is to start firing first /then/ ads and guide the reticle. You get your first shots off faster which can be the clincher in a 1on1 encounter.
Also: Shingen-C.
I've never seen that one before either.
I'm going to be hunting for the Helm of Innmost Light though, that one is made for a Striker Titan.

The exotic AR I got (Hard Light) was pretty rough at first, but it has two stability upgrades which make a huge difference. The first one made it manageable and the second one made it smooth as butter. It's perfect now. Totally wrecks in PvP.

They sit on control points or in little hallways. The bubble lasts forever.
You can't engage them or the zone because they can peak out and retreat.

Once you get to 15, you can switch between subclasses at any time. It also grants you access to both subclasses for any other characters you create from the beginning.

What is Nexus farming exactly? Is it playing the Nexus strike over and over? Or is there a certain part in that
strike that's good for farming?

I have never had a disconnect from Crucible. I played about 3 hours earlier thus today. PS4.

Basically farming a group of trash mobs blue and suiciding because it resets you to right before that group. Expect this to be changed in a patch at some point.

Check to see if it has stability upgrades. I don't think all of them do.
I totally know what you mean, btw. Stability is a huge priority for me in a weapon. No point in having a gun if I can't hit people with it, lol.
At a certain point you'll end up in a cave with about 15 goblins. Kill all of them, loot then everyone jumps of to respawn at the check point near the beginning of the cave.
I feel like a complete dolt waving that thing around missing all my shots.
It's why the fusion rifle's short 'n sweet death blast is so satisfying.

Just doing some endgame stuff today, and I did the daily story mission which reminded me how fucking clueless the writing is in the game. I'm talking about the cut scene at the end of the A Stranger's Call mission. Ugh, it's just terribad especially at the very end.

For what it's worth the shield is only partially on a timer. You can actually overload it with enough damage. If you and your team wail on it hard and long enough it'll drop surprisingly quick.
That and it's really the only ability we get. There's an overshield we get for melee kills but it's kinda meh in PVP in my experience.
Some people like that kind of thing.
