Is there a reward for reaching rank 3 in the faction? Should I level Vanguard to rank 2 or just stick with the faction to level 3?

Or do both?

Focus on faction, you get a loyalty package every time you level up your faction, and unlike the package from Rahool, you'll actually get legendary gear.

Legendary armor gives you two shards, weapons twor energy. So it may be smarter to break down extra legendary items if you have them.

Lightning grenade is awesome but I find it hard to throw in correct places, but it's damage has got me some sweet kills.

The PvP in this game might be the best I've played since Halo 3. The mobility I have as a warlock with the upgraded glide really opens up the maps and the little boost you get from it is simply amazing for getting out of trouble and pulling back when you've got someone charging at you. Countless are the times I manage to get out of a shotgunner's range because of it and take him down with my trusted Shingen.

Once Bungie fixes the map rotation (same 2-3 maps over and over) and tweaks shotguns/melee slightly it's going to fantastic.

You play on PS4? Always looking to add PvP players to my list.

Had a really weird issue yesterday where the game wouldn't populate with other players at all. I worked on some patrol bounties in the Cosmodrome for about 20 minutes before I realized I hadn't seen another player the entire time and checked the roster and I was the only one on the map. Then went to the tower and again, I was all by myself. Other than that, I could do whatever with zero problem. It's just that the game became truly singleplayer lol. Finally tested to see what would happen if I loaded up the Crucible and it wouldn't connect to anyone at all. Had to reset the Xbox which fixed the problem.

Toland's legacy is a Pulse Rifle and A Dubious Task is a Shotgun, not sure what A Light in the Dark is.

EDIT: A Light in the Dark is the Thorn Hand Cannon.

Think i'm going to skip the hunter exotic chest, just bought the dead orbit legendary chest and the hunter exotic one from Xur has no abilities that I am interested in. Don't even use that grenade. So really its what, +4 light when both are maxed? Maybe I'll get the rocket.........
