I know there's gonna be a secret Elvira like wife in this game for the man's.
And I had a weird crush on Undead Elvira hopefully they make the named girls hot in this game.
 
Aside from GoonerGaf crying about her looks for the hundredth time, I have to say the graphics and visuals look extremely good, I'm super stoked for this game and praying it releases day and date for the PS5.
 
Looks like a good game to be honest. Main character design is a really fucking odd choice. I can't imagine for one second that there was a meeting where they all agreed that was the design they would go with.

Will keep my eye on this one!

Visuals look really good, I'll give it that. The MC design is ugly but not bad enough to make me skip it. It does make me a bit more skeptical though, it seems like when MCs are made more unappealing there's deeper issues with the games writing (Aloy in Horizon is an insufferably written character regardless of her appearance/sexual orientation).

My real concern is with a voiced character that the element of your hero feeling like you being removed. Yeah you don't "create" your character in the other Fable games in the traditional sense but the characters aren't voiced and you get to customize them enough anyways by having their body change based on your playstyle, tattoos, hair cuts, etc. that by the end of the game the character is basically unique to you.

I enjoy the cinema quality voice acting & performance in my games but Fable is one of those series that just doesn't need it. It should honestly feel like Monty Python and riff on classic Fantasy/Fairy Tales tropes (The Princess Bride is what I'd consider a good tonal comparison). Silent protag + a great narrator fits that like a glove.

Either way I'll keep an eye on it but it's definitely one I'm waiting on until I see impressions from people I trust.
 
Honestly I have my doubts for this game, the competition for RPG is tough but gfx wise for pre-alpha it looks great so let us see how the final output will be. I hope it is well optimized too as the Horizon games.

also if you read through the YouTube comments on the very same video you linked to, people point out good reasons to be skeptical

lastly, I think it is hilarious that you are critical of Fable yet are excited for a Black Desert Online prequel or whatever that Korean slop you linked is. I wouldn't expect a game like Fable to interest you. you have awful taste.

No, because a game 5 years into development and backed by MS (with all the money in the world) is still only showing 20 second video clips of basic ass gameplay...

..Meanwhile Pearl Abyss with a similar development schedule and less financial backing is actually showing a real GAME with real gameplay systems and structures and yet that isn't the standard being used for being "impressed" with 5 years worth of development.

In other words raise your standards for what counts as actual impressive gameplay (especially after 5 years of development)

As a fan of the original, this looks like crap. But even if it'd look good, I am not playing a main characters with such a punchable face.

I'd rather take games with actual gameplay over "strung-together-animations" that are moreso emulating or alluding to actual real gameplay any day.

But whatever, I guess Xbox owners have been trained to lower ther standards and just be happy SOMETHING is coming out.

I like what I see. But they need a big work on the character faces. As long as you see the MC from behind, it's really good.
