KOHH is still pretty popular. He was featured in an Utada song (one of my favorite songs on the album) last year for her comeback, so that's pretty huge for a Japanese rapper. Honestly, the cheap sounding high hats in a lot of Trap have always turned me off. I can't get into that subgenre at all.
I'd seen the first video, but not the second. I'll check it out. It's sad that Japanese rap isn't mainstream really in Japan. If people listen to Hiphop here, they probably listen to American stuff only, even if they're Japanese and don't know any English. It happens with a lot of genres. I know people lots of Japanese people that love rock, but have no idea that they have tons of amazing bands right here.
