I'd suggest Epic7 rather. It has super generous system and you can pretty much obtain majority of existing heroes in a year without spending more than few bucks each month.

That's a great question. I wouldn't imagine it would expire based on my experience with delisted games on Xbox but I could be wrong.

And it's never really insane anyways. Nintendo stuff is one of the few gaming related things that retain or increases their value over the years. Try selling anything Xbox related today, outside of the Steel Battalion bundle for the original Xbox, the rest has about as much value as dogshit.

I've been neglecting my Switch for the past week or so as I've been playing my new PS5.
My gf has convinced me to give Demon's Souls a break for a few days though and play through Mario Galaxy for the first time with her instead.

I've been really excited to play Galaxy for a while but decided I wanted to save it for around the Christmas period and is just seems like a magical game that would suit the festive period. My interest in Galaxy is the main reason I bought 3D All-Stars and based on what I know about the game I'm extremely hyped for it.

Well fuck it, Christmas is nearly here anyway.
I start my Galaxy adventure tomorrow evening

Same. My imported Vita copy still has the most hours on it for this reason.

Other versions are nice for mp on the big TV. I'm tempted to pick up this new one for the "character powers".

Actually wondering if this is being used for a NES emulator refresh on the Switch and they'll introduce this game as part of the NES app at somepoint in FY 2021. Adding on to my theory below:

Working theory/wishful thinking here:

FW 11 update was to stealth introduce Virtual Console 2.0. NES and SNES apps become miniature storefronts with a la carte purchases. Nintendo could introduce GameBoy, DS, N64, GameCube, and potentially even Wii apps in the future as the classic console apps would no longer be explicitly part of NSO. They clearly put in some work updating the N64 emulator and introducing a GameCube and Wii emualtors as well. I doubt they intend to just sit on them.

The FW 11 update added the NSO launcher so that you can identify and launch games that are part of your subscription. The NSO app seemed like a really bizarre addition to me so I have to imagine there is a reason that the NES/SNES game catalog can viewed and launched from that app. If they add more games I would imagine that you would still need NSO for online play and if Nintendo really wants to sell the sub they could offer some sort of NSO discount program or lock features behind NSO.

New apps would come sometime in FY 2021 after the Mario 3D All Stars eShop run ends. Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask would among the first games brought to a N64 app for the Zelda Anniversary (I'm not very confident we get ports of the 3DS titles unfortunately). I could even imagine something silly like the GameCube/Wii apps only working on a Switch hardware revision like SNES on New 3DS.
