So is anyone else having issues with their 8bitdo controllers? I kinda feel like this just started with one of Nintendo's recent updates. I never had any issues with the 8bitdo controller. Something just doesn't add up. Are these controllers known to have any issues like this over time?

8BitDo has/had problems with interferences with other controllers. Both on the SN30 Pro and the Plus. Do you have the latest (beta) firmware installed? Do you have other Bluetooth devices connected to the Switch / to the same TV?

OK Nintengaf, I've got an 8bitdo controller question. I've got an SN30 Pro+ controller that has recently began to feel laggy with inputs. At first I thought it was just my imagination while playing Mario 35, but I was suddenly failing to make timely jumps and it was becoming really hard to hang around into the top 3. I swapped controllers and played with my Pro controller and it felt a lot more responsive.

I don’t know if they fixed them, but 8bitdo controllers used to have lag, especially the Bluetooth controllers. I don’t use any of their controllers anymore except the 2.4ghz if I don’t have another option. I use the SNES/NES official Switch controllers from Nintendo, the Krikzz Genesis controller, or Retro-bit Saturn controller. They have all measured at less lag than 8bitdo.

In general bluetooth has bad latency. There is a really good chart that measures latency with MiSTer. Should be similar for Nintendo Switch. It has a ton of controllers measured-8bitdo, Nintendo, everything.

If updating the firmware doesn't fix it and there is still a discernible difference it might just come down to the controller itself. 8bitdo's products are nice but bluetooth is far less reliable than 2.4g. Unfortunately I do not believe they offer a usb 2.4g option.

They have 2.4g usb receiver options for many of their controllers. Looking to possibly pick up the arcade stick which has gotten some praise on the classic gaming mister discord.

I had this happen with the exact controller. Fixed it by holding the power button on the Switch and going through a cold boot and then resyncing the controller.

Petaya Berry Petaya Berry give Majora's Mask a second try! Your hating on Eiji Aonuma is UNFOUNDED!!!!

Breath of the Wild truly is one of the best games. I would suggest spending a lot more time exploring. I could have easily spent 50-75 hrs in each quadrant of the map if I knew how vast the game is, at the time that I was playing it. Should have searched the land of Hyrule until I had 999 of each arrow and all my weapon, bow, and shield spaces, hearts, and stamina wheel maxed out, then fired everything I had at the Calamity Ganon

I mean, I barely have time to play the ones that I like...
I dislike Aonuma but I still play almost all Zeldas. I will still give a chance for A Link Between Worlds though.

I'm at 80 hours in BotW and still exploring. Just did one "mission", the beast Ruta, and since then I tried to conquer all towers (just 1 remains) and discover the great fairy fountains.

I don't think that I will finish this game before Atelier Ryza 2 launch...

That's a great pace. There's a ton to explore in BOTW but the story will conclude in a flash if you're not approaching it sparingly

I just remembered how under the radar Oninaki flew, almost no one bought it. Sure, it has flaws and was probably done with little money, but it certainly was an interesting experience. Hopefully Tokyo RPG Factory can still release games like it.

Nintendo ended up hiring one of the early NES emulator developers previously. His work ended up in Animal Crossing on GameCube.
I still weep that they removed this feature just because they've decided that they can sell those games separately... Imagine if Animal Crossing: New Horizon had N64 games which you could play..... imagine being able to play the original Japanese N64 version of Animal Crossing inside Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
