There are elements in Indiana Jones, they just arent too annoying. First of all the woman isnt really attractive, going against the movies' history of having a cute girl besides Indy. Then there are dialogue lines like the main nazi guy says: "There is nothing easier to manipulate than an insecure male" - something which that leftwing nut Jeff Grubb was quick to laud.
Completed it on Platinum because I figured out I could get everything in quite a short amount of time and the gameplay itself was fun..
Well. You cant blame people for being highly skeptical after that Indiana Jones promo video ... It certainly dodged the bullet and never came into fruition as far as I know it since I still haven't played ... it was only bad marketing.
Ok, I can understand that point of view. I do think they handled waypoint navigation a little differently using the touch bar... but yeah don't think you are wrong about the NPC's. For me that wasn't that important. Perhaps I haven't found a game where I found this to be its strong point but haven't cared much personally for how lived in a game world feels.
