I'm not shit posting at all. I'm calling out Sony. The PS5 is a disappointing console when it comes to exclusives, Jan.
>"here's a game produced by sony"
>"sony produced a game? lulz"
This is calling out according to you.

It's only a joke.

Sony still underdelivered big time. There's a poll on this very website that shows, overwhelmingly, that most members here think the PS5 is the worst console Sony ever produced.

Literally nothing of what you're saying changes anything regarding what happened in this very thread.

People liked stream which showed great looking games and gave all of them a decent amount of screen time with game play segments.

What an inconsistent tragedy.
Your ridiculous strawman doesn't fool anyone. I've already stated where the inconsistency is. You stupidly stating the obvious isn't what is an inconsistency.
If you still need examples because your brain can't process it you can look back at past threads when you were laughing at heisenberg when he was pointing out the great upcoming published games on the other side. If you still don't see what inconsistencies are then you're a lost cause.

Confused James Franco GIF

Fanny Heisenberg or proper Heisenberg?

I didn't catch it and only see the bits of news here about Ninja Gaiden and stuff. Any update on Fable? I feel like its been so long since we've had ANYTHING on Fable and the last thing we got was a shitty CGI trailer with goofy ass faces. I wanted Fable more than anything else in the Xbox lineup. Like what's going on?

Not only is that hyperlink not going to anything I posted, but I would also ask you to take two minutes and actually read my posts in the topic carefully. They're not saying what you think might be a gotcha for you.

Also, don't catch feels over laugh emoji on posts, you would probably not be able to withstand the average demigod onslaught.

The user splattered splattered , whose posts the fake heisenberg quoted that you're using here gave this Direct the same B that you did ffs lol

I voted b, purely on personal preference - was a great showing, but not really my kind of games. Will try them all though on Gamepass - quite the schedule they're pumping out first half of the year.

C.

It shows how mediocre Xbox has become and how they can only rely on nostalgia from the most dedicated fans.

The only reason I didn't give a D is because I somewhat liked the art direction of South of Midnight and Clair Expeditions or whatever it's called.
south of midnight is woke slop.

I'll give it a B- , mainly because 3 out of the 4 games piqued my interest and they'll all be available on PS5 day one it seems.

Same could be said for Indy and anything else they got coming out.

It would have been nuts. Shame they gave up on competing JUST as they are starting to cook.
They had to in order to get the acquisitions passed. Watch them do a full 180 as soon as they can. Classic Microsoft

I have wishlisted all games shown here apart from South of Midnight which I plan to play on Gamepass, I'm not super into the combat yet, I think there are a lot of systems they have put together and I doubt everything will flow nicely. The world/art direction is on point, the combat looked basic but basics nailed make a game excellent. I still need to see more to totally commit on this, the length as well as whether this is a "Forspoken"-like which will irritate me with dialogue all the time.

Solid lineup, Xbox has cooked and is cooking. Sony probably is doing the same, Nintendo will swipe with NS2, GTA this year, so many cool AAAs, fine AAs and fun indies coming up. New Nvidia cards as well! So much variety, so many new gamers!

also lol, gamers are winning, wokes and chuds losing! (/s), ( sincere advice to this group from both sides, stop ranting, start playing!)

2025 is a golden year for gamers, whether you plan on Switch 2, PC, Xbox, PS5 or even Mobile!

8.5/10

  • Great game selection
  • Focused
  • Good NG surprises, including shadow drop
Everything looked great. South o Midnight, reminded me of Darksiders 1 and 2, but has been sent to die. I think they made 2 critical errors: the protagonist and the stop motion style. I don't think people see games that star black ladies as a genuine artistic choice and it has become a trope. The stop motion may look jarring to some people. It's sad because it looks like they have a solid game. Dooms looks amazing, probably GOTY material but I think they shown too much. And Ninja Gaiden seems like its going to have a good game. It took only 30 years for Team Ninja to step aside an let some real action professionals take the job.

One thing is for sure. It's going to be one hell of a year for gamepass again.
If you think of it, it's actually incredible. You can make 18 months of Game Pass Ultimate for like 70 Euro with vpn. That's 1 full price console game. Especially if you are on pc the "OMG, it's so expensive" hardware isn't that expensive anymore.

I'd rather buy and own games which I am really looking forward to on Steam itself. eg Doom Dark Ages.

Maybe I'll use GP to play Ninja Garden 2 and Indiana Jones - games which I'm likely to play once and never again.

You don't own games on Steam. But you can always buy a licence later for like 5 bucks if you want.

I didn't watch the direct but I watched the trailers afterwards. A solid show but Expedition 33 was by far the worst of the lot and surprisingly for me, South of midnight was the most interesting. The acting seemed interesting and the female lead doesn't sounds annoying. She also doesn't have that "I'm going to suplex Brock Lesner" energy that characters like Aloy have. I'll definitely be purchasing it if it releases on steam or ps5.

Great pacing, gave it a B because the only thing I'm really into is DOOM. But everything looked pretty solid if that's what you're into!

Killjoy-NL Killjoy-NL

I know it was posted yesterday, but I assume you do remember what our conversation was about. It had nothing to do with you buying games or not. Here's the full conversation.

So by that logic, every new entry in a franchise shows how the publishers rely on nostalgia predominantly. That makes absolutely perfect sense. Thanks.

Not at all, but for these specific games, yes.

And we both know why that is.

Do tell, because both are PS5 games.

Because of who is publishing.

Obviously, I will be there for Doom day one, but I'm the most curious about South of Midnight. I didn't even watch the whole video - I was basically sold, because the whole southern thing is so much up my alley. I'm even fine with the video that it is not a game with the most sophisticated combat ever.
