That's what I figured :(. I tuned in for a minute and saw SonicFox vs. Scar and thought going back to sleep would be more entertaining lol.

They could have announced a new premier skin, trailer for the next DLC character... Anything. Why even bother with E3 then? Lol.

It's ridiculous how many cool looking things are locked behind abilities. Most players will never see them, and it's where some of the most creative stuff is at.

They should've balanced them and let you select a pair before a competitive match.

I would like to start competing in tournaments so I'm wondering if I should stay away from player matches altogether and just play ranked?

What's the point of training my brain how to use abilities when in the tournament setting that knowledge is useless?

yeah abilities are useless for ranked play. That's why you dont see me stressing bout them. I actually like to turn off to train actual combo strings

Now gear on the other hand- I like to collect them for looks. Cause unlike abilities they are useful to the actual tournament part of the game. I feel my sexy characters gives me an edge due to distracting my opponents :)

My Red Hood just hit 20. Don't use Source Crystals to speed level folks, it's 30min with a second controller, or two hours on multiverse (with rewards).

I haven't really touched Injustice online at all, general rule of thumb is finding a player match lobby with decent players who'll agree to turn gear off, but my understanding is that's tough to find. Ranked is fine if you can find consistent matches.

I don't really like abilities being locked out of ranked and competitive. I haven't seen any that seem broken.

Gear stats and special gear buffs, sure, turn them off. But if people could keep track of different variations in MK X, they can cope with abilities here.

Red Hood's abilities from leveling up are Hidden Explosive (lethal lunge meter burn gives combo) and Gutted (replaces parry, blade attacks that MB into the ammoless gun bash). The one at 0:34 in the trailer.

I did. Got Hidden Explosive (meter burning a forward lunge when close range attaches an explosive to the opponent, launching them upwards) and Gutted (replaces spin parry with a knife attack that when meter burned, is the move from the intro trailer).

I do like to mess around with abilities in Casual sometimes.

Not sure how unbalanced they are. Like my Flash has that sonic bolt he can throw which gives him range. my Darkseid has reverse beams and boom tubes. Brainic has an ionic beam that he can call down from the sky to hit opponents. my harley can actually heal herself

again no idea how much this unbalances the game but abilities might be kinda sketch in ranked

oh right- my Wonder woman has some ability that changes the hero power and gets rid of the RNG crap. making it something I can rely on.

Oh right I have like 8 abilities for Batman I am guessing maybe thats the max? He can throw dual batarangs which might seem crazy annoying lol

Got Red Hood to level 13 after a few hours, basically multiverse and online fights. Surprisingly I'm beating higher leveled fighters both ai and human (after I hit level 5 Ijust went into beast mode and continued to thrash level 15-20 fighters.

I'm not sure what it going on, but whenever my Capt Cold AI faces Green Lantern in the multiverse, the AI just stops working. GL kicks my ass, but the fight is counted as a win and I move on to the next fight, where the AI works without issue.

Something like that happened to me last night too, I thought I was going crazy.

Those are multiverse anomalies, basically secret fights, that you have to play manually. They're a bit harder, and have box rewards. If you lose, you continue the ladder with the AI.

You'll know it happens because MULTIVERSE ANOMALY appears on screen, and it does NOT take you back to the road map of characters you have to fight, it goes right to the anomaly match

And I got 10k credit per perfect in versus so it gave me around 2 millions as well

Weirdly that's what I though after somebody told me this for dr fate but I just equipped the beginning stuff and the one I got from the multiverse red hood event. Checked my stuff infos and none says extra credits

Wait, what? How can you get a character from 1 to 20 in 30 minutes? I've been trying to get my characters from 15 to 20 and it takes 20 minutes using 2 player VS mode. The character I'm fighting as usually gets 1000 xp per fight and it takes like 5 fights to move up each level. I've increased the round time to max as well, is there something else I need to do?

Weird. I'm jealous of all these extra credits. Does your guild have any bonus multipliers going?

My time might be off by a bit, but is it taking you more than like ten seconds to win a match? It shouldn't. You should be able to fit two fights in per minute.

This thread'll get moved to community soon enough.

I don't expect there's a big enough competitive scene on here to organize tournaments, getting one active guild past the first week was tough enough.

I'm really enjoying Red Hood. I like his diving moves, his party (especially when meter burned) and his shot cancel on his character power which is so fast and powerful.

possibly'. Didnt check. I think we're rang 8 or 9 currently.
I'm myself level 78 afaik. 30 level 20 check.

I do ou 500 gp / 5xAI / best multiverses daily and that's about it
