Hesitating to pick it up in a packed month now. On top that I am currently in a KCD1 playthrough, I might take a break from sim-rpg and wait for DLCs.

Time for Avowed & Monster hunter wild . I don't recall any roadmap on Avowed nor DLCs.

I will play once on release with english VO, and then year or two later do a replay of both games with all the content and with czech VO.
I just hope some of the hardcore mode aspects will get modded in quickly (specifically no map GPS).

You are right. I look into the Avowed early access tax and seems there is no expansion plan for the game like Starfield was.

The gold edition comes with the three DLC but if not wanting it at launch just wait I'm sure it will go on sale.

Honestly I'd recommend playing the first so you know what you're getting in to, or at least getting a grasp of the story on YouTube or similar.

I don't think you will be as useless as the start of kcd1 but they still need to have some progression.
