What part sounds like ABBA?

The harmonized vocals? I think the first 40s sounds ABBA-esque right off the bat. Then again at 1.11 during the chorus "When you touch me I die, just a little inside..."

Venus is great. Not as good as Aura, but I'll be shocked if I like any of the other ARTPOP tracks over Aura.

And yeah that chorus reeks of ABBA, and that is a great thing.

I love Venus, but I think DWUW is the better single choice. GP would have responded with "gaga stop trying so hard u r so annoying" and we would have ended up with another Judas.

Once DWUW is sent to radio stations it should have no problem getting back to the top 10 on iTunes.

Allegedly Gypsy was going to be the lead single! I think that might say a lot about the song, I'm thinking the production is stellar on it because honestly I am not feeling it with her AMPYA performance.

This is her at her best. I'm curious as to why you think this ISN'T one of her best songs.

Yep, this is the Judas successor, though I still don't know how to rank them. Poker Face and Bad Romance are so iconic at this point that it's harder to bring them back to earth to compare, lol

Judas is kind of Bad Romance's ugly cousin, but if you take it in the same humorous/campy vein as the other two then it's super fun. But I do think it's too moody sometimes.

Yeah, I can't see it that way for some reason. I never feel it's genuinely camp, which is why I'm so unforgiving. I find Bad Romance like the perfect Balance of the two, while Venus is Gaga gone completely camp.

No exaggeration, the singles were the worst songs of the album. Judas was the only decent choice. Marry The Night, are you serious?

Hair, Bloody Mary, ScheiBe, Americano, Highway Unicorn and The Queen were all better choices than what they made singles. It's like they thought "It's Lady Gaga, it's going to be a hit even if it's a mediocre song like Marry The Night, we're better than anyone else" and that almost costed her career. Bloody Mary is the best Lady Gaga song, it's ridiculous it's not a single and doesn't have a video, it could've been a hit of Alejandro levels.

Luckily it seems she/they've learned the lesson.
