The existence of a virgin was implied on the role name being 'Hooker instead of a Roleblocker. I didn't want to outright confirm Virgin's existence on the role pm since it would have given scum even more help.

With the scum silence it has always been tiptoeing on the issue, how much info should all sides have.

Sure, the game is Vanilla flavored so one could argue that the roles work exactly as described in the mafiascum wiki; but even then it is required to even think about looking your own role up if you're not an experienced player who knows that a hooker could imply a virgin.

For perspective: These issues are smaller than I make them sound rn. The game itself and your moderation have been solid or better.

I don't think there's an issue with the flavour on the hookers, since the hint was there, and it's more focused on the impact on the virgins, who do have the relevant information in their role.

The silencers yeah, could maybe have been a bit less ambiguous, since as a town role the pseudo cop element could have been intentional.

In that case, one of the pair is in charge of sending out the command. In the post where I inform the pair about their chat being silenced, I also inform which one of the two is in charge of the command. The one in charge is decided by RNG.

Not that it would have made any difference once I assumed that Scum knew what would happen to a silenced Town PR, so it was NAI. I was just a bit confused about it.

Yeah. These are all issues that are about trying to finetune the balancing. The virgins were basically the only source of protection for town (outside one of the perks bookies could have reached), so I was worried informing out right about the virgins could give scum too much advantage from the balance perspective. In hindsight informing them might have been wiser, since Sawrian not realising the existence of the virgins an alibi I did not foresee coming.

Oh, one other note on modding, when you say "don't discuss this replacement," that's normally said when players learn something that they shouldn't, ie. who scum is. I know there's no good way to handle something like that, but it might be better just to omit that part regardless of the reason for the replacement so that it looks like a more natural replacement.

Or maybe it was only me who was thinking that way.

I wasn't lying when I said my "Day 2" referred to the entire day and night phase. I had misread the text and thought the scum chat was silenced for the entirety of Day and Night, and we would have to submit a kill without discussing it first. Ironically, Kark's post made me realize that we weren't silenced for Day and Night.

Personally I think I shouldn't have chosen a partner game as my first one. With so many people it's just too much to keep track of. Especially with two newbies in one team.

The pair game was fun. I had a blast with my partner but honestly for non-game related reasons. Our times didn't align so I just did most of my work in the thread as usual.

Well considering people were already thinking that there was no way us and Sawrian were on a team, it would have sealed the deal. I was worried that Natiko might see through it, but when Flush came in and flat out said the plan would have worked I kind of wished we did it.

But why? Why on earth did Sawrian claim when they did. I just looked back over the D1 votes and I think even if we lynched Xkark I would have gone after Crimsonphia afterwards... gg, I guess.

Because the questions being asked at the start of the Day Phase were ones we couldn't answer without continuously jumping around our claim. It also felt like it was dangerously close to snowballing into accusations and votes against us and I wanted to snuff that out before it got out of hand. Continuing to post without answering those questions would've looked bad.

Not too sure how much I can answer this since playing Scum wasn't as different other than having someone else attached at the hip. It was kinda nice since I could actively sheep a scummate and it wouldn't be seen as weird but other than that it just felt like a normal scum team.

Having everyone be pairs did help offset the massive amount of people that were in the game but it was still really tough at times keeping up with everyone. aBut the teams did help get mislynches going so that was a plus too.

Sophia and crimson were only held back by not playing enough or being assertive enough, their intuition was great. I did trust Ty/Trig and Our/KK - they projected their towniness a lot imo and also those two teams had a special place in my heart for feeling like the most likely to humor me lol

Sorry about the outbursts a few times, Natiko + everyone else. I had a really hectic month, which made playing this game difficult. Between having to deal with my uncle (who called up like clockwork drunk almost every night for a few weeks during the early day phases) and my hormones being increased causing moodswings, I was pretty much unable to think correctly from Day 4 onward. >_<;

I feel really bad, because at various points in the lovers chat we correctly figured out who the scum team was and didn't push up on it. We really should have pushed insanely hard for Sorian and Sawneeks after Ty4on flipped another power role, because it was obvious then.
