What is going on
Are we not spoilering tags in here? Its just not going to be safe anywhere with everyone on different episodes.

is the show aired? woooh?
i thought it was dec for some reasons! :>
Why is the spoiler thread even up a week before it airs. There's not really any leaked stuff out there either one could discuss.

There is no leak. The spoiler thread is up because some people might have already glanced at some of the preview stuff and might want to discuss it. It prevents this thread from becoming all black bars and people just accidental spoiling for everyone.
Yeah, I just read it in the other thread.
Some spoilers about how her backstory is being handled here:

Was hoping her "been there done that" line in the trailer was about her past as Jewel :/
If she were never Jewel, that makes for an interesting though worrisome change to her origin.
I've seen the first 7 episodes (and I love ALIAS), the changes they made were fine to me. I can speak in more detail if you have specific questions.
This is really good to hear! Calms my fears.

Which media outlet do you work for?
This is the spoiler thread though, so all spoilers are a good game.
I certainly won't be revealing those kinds of spoilers (more for the protection of others).
I did not see this in any kind of review capacity if that's what you're getting at. Not my area.
Can you tell us what they did instead? It was honestly one of the things that I was skeptical about myself going in considering they have to establish Jessica Jones without a "normalized" superhero presence in the MCU but the workaround they wrote for it fits nicely within the context of the world they've established without overtly making her a costumed hero.
Part way through the first ep, but did she ever find some TP?
You'll like episode 5Oh wow so in the show she was never Jewel at any point.
TP= toilet paperWhat's TP?
I'm at Episode 3 currently.
Just finished
Loved it!
Conclusion kind of fizzles a tad. Im sure there will be lots of opinions on it
Didnt care for the daredevil red herring but Rosario Dawson was great
Episode 12 is effing great.
I vastly preferred the ending of Jessica Jones to Daredevil. The Daredevil ending was so bad.
I just found it way more effective because the whole show was literally about power and mind games. Combine that with the themes of abuse and sexual violence, and the way Jones ends the problem is probably the most affirming way to end it.I dont think either of them were bad honestly
Just underwhelming. They tie up the series into a bow and leave it alone as an isolated piece.
I get that from an artistic standpoint.. At least for now.

Meanwhile the final Daredevil/Kingpin confrontation is just two guys punching each other in an alleyway.
Let's forget that the MCU exists. It's the only way this show makes sense. lolEhh
Its kind of a classic ending with less spectacle. I actually enjoyed their final fight but yeah... Tough to top all the amazing content that came before it lol.
Jessica's ending was more symbolic and kind of clever. Kind of sad Kilgrave had to die but there was no way he was living after all that thematic buildup
The lack of interference on a mass mind controller in New York though... I suppose its explainable during but certainly not in the aftermath
Someone big has to notice the death of Kilgrave and its sad not a single nugget was dropped at the very end
Ehh
