Marvel's Spider-Man continues to be one of the best superhero video games released in the last decade, thanks in no small part to Yuri Lowenthal's committed and passionate performance as Peter Parker, and the overall lighthearted tone that keeps players feeling good over the course of its 20-hour runtime. I wouldn't necessarily recommend that you run out and buy it if you've already played the base game at launch, but if you're looking for an excuse to jump back in and take a crack at all the DLC missions that have released since then, you can't go wrong here.
AttackofTheFanboy - 4.0/5.0
Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is a blast on PC whether you're a first-timer or you've already played the game on PS4 or PS5. Some performance issues hamper the experience, but the game never reaches an unplayable state.
VGC - 4.0/5.0
This is an excellent PC port with Steam Deck support that elevates to it to a must-own for anyone with Valve's portable. While Sony may never make a PlayStation Vita 2, if its support of the Steam Deck continues as more and more PlayStation exclusives migrate to PC, it'll soon feel like the next-generation Sony handheld many of us have always wanted.
PCMag - 4.0/5.0
Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is a highly polished action-adventure game that features familiar comic book set pieces, tight gameplay systems, and amazingly detailed New York City-based environments that keep you entertained throughout a lengthy campaign
GodIsaGeek - 9.5/10.0
A fully complete, accessible version of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered that will run on most systems, is at home on the portable Steam Deck, and feels fresh and brilliant even four years after release.

With fantastic graphics and, ahem, spectacular gameplay, this is the best Spider-Man game ever. The performance isn't quite what I'd hoped, and some of the contrivances regarding enemy types get on my nerves, but this is a game that every Spidey fan needs to play.

Marvel's Spider-Man doesn't push the boat, but it accomplishes what it sets out to do with such a high level of quality that it's hard not admire its execution. Even after four years of potential challengers behind it, it remains one of the best superhero games that's now even better thanks to the power of the PC.

Marvel's Spider-Man is still a great game and if you've still not picked it up, I highly recommend it. On PlayStation 4, the technical wizardry pales in comparison to what Insomniac cooked up on PlayStation 5. Now, PC players will finally be able to experience one of the best PlayStation exclusives on their rigs and it is without a doubt exciting to see PlayStation get serious about supporting PC. While the game isn't overwhelmingly different on PC, the added settings PC players have come to love to fiddle with will make this a wonderful experience.
