I tried watching that comedy show because she goes topless in the first episode but couldn't. nice real nice though.
It is definitely a chick show, probably my wife's favorite show. I enjoyed it as well, it is one of the best filmed shows I have ever seen - meaning that it looks really good always, with great costumes, proper lighting, and great sets. For the stage performances they do a lot of long takes, I think at one point they had a no-cut cabaret scene that was like 10 minutes long. So even though the plot is for chicks, if you like great film-making you will enjoy the show. Also the acting is fantastic, particularly from Tony Shalhoub.

Was the nudity just a hook for the first ep? Fairly common tactic for 'cable' shows that carried over to early streaming programming. I still remember the first ep of Stargate SG-1 having full frontal (and WOW!) 'just 'cause' it was on Showtime and they felt like they had to.
