First thing I noticed was how the colors seem deeper and richer than my OG PS5 did. Not sure if that's just some output variance that can happen between consoles or what, but it's definitely there. Looks really good.
Also, a problem I had with syncing trophies on my OG is now fixed on the Pro, so that's nice. Was having that issue for like 4 months.
I was playing The Quarry last night. On the OG PS5, there was always some kinda nasty graphical glitching on window frames in certain scenes. On the Pro, those glitches are, while still there, very much improved and less annoying.
Other than that though, things seem pretty much like what's being reported everywhere online. Sharper graphical details, smoother framerates, etc.
Basically feels like about the same kinds of improvements we got from PS4 to PS4 Pro.
Was it worth it? I don't know.....I guess so, if you can afford it. Price seems awful high considering it didn't even come with a disk drive. I just know I wouldn't have been able to stand hanging with the "inferior" PS5, when there's a better one out, just like how I was with the PS4 to Pro. I don't really game on PC beyond legacy emulation, I primarily game on console, so the upgrade was "necessary" for me.
