Out of curiosity, was SE happy with the LTD numbers? Here's hoping for some more Type-improved FFs.
PS4 is a dead lock for 100+ million LT at this point
~60K?
Holy shit.
PS4 is outselling it 2:1 globally, it is soundly beating the X1.
MS on their beat day never reached that, nowhere near it.
I don't think MS will be unhappy with 1.5m versus 1.25m if that ratio continues.
It's amazing how PS4 is selling like this with no exclusives. Sony will just cater to Indies while Nintendo and MS have AAA exclusives.
I bought Yo-Kai. Lile TR, deserving of way more sales. It's a Pokemon game that's actually IN 3D.
They somehow shipped a million so I would assume so.
Re-posting from the other page because you're throwing names out but not comprehending his tweet.

There are 9 tombs in the game, so 1 million divided by 9 would be 111k, but it's over that, so expect a bit higher.
The game did sub Type-0 numbers in the US, thanks Kagari for the 200k info there.
Yeah, you guys are in for a real treat. It' a gem.

Rise of the Tomb Raider [All Formats] - 200,000 (-43%)
UK first week launch

Tomb Raider [ALL Formats] - 206,500
Rise of the Tomb Raider [All Formats] - 44,000 (-79%)

Tomb Raider [Xbox 360] - 103,000
Rise of the Tomb Raider [Xbox One] - 37,400 (-64%)
Rise of the Tomb Raider [All Formats] - 44,000 (-57%)
Edit: When I was doing this comparison I though that CosmicQueso was referring to Rise of the Tomb Raider when he said 200,000.
Please don't pay attention to this until we have the confirmed number.
Install base has nothing to do with it? So a title can sell 10 million copies if the platform it's made for has an install base much lower than that? You're exaggerating to the point of being ridiculous.

Halo has a lot of withering to do to become just another exclusive. See Rise of the Tomb Raider.
i'm sure they are. considering the games they had for xbox. touting the best game lineup in xbox history. while they beat last year's number they couldn't come out on top against sony. We'll see how they react in the coming weeks. if nothing happens then they are fine with it.

Kagari, ~200k for ROTR is on X360/Xbone or just Xbone?
I think you mixed Life is Strange with Tomb Raider
Runner-up behind Konami as the biggest fail of the generation. We will remember this TR scenario in our archives
Wonder what this means for the TR franchise. I hope the Lara Croft series continues since I like that one.

Wait, hold up....that changes the dynamic drastically. Didn't PS2 have a Nov. of 1.7 million at one point? That is crazy.
I have to be honest, I thought PS4 sales would start winding down by now. Seems both consoles are doing pretty decent all around.
Bloodborne, The Order, Until Dawn, MLB, etc. don't count, because they were released before October, right?
when you look at it from a grander scales of WW sales, Sony is doing great, Microsoft not so much. also losing your biggest market to Sony is seriously bad thing.
I thought the calender goes October November December and there is 273 days of nothing.
For Tomb Raider? Only thing that would surprise me is if NBA Live 16 did better.
Yes you can read it in any major outlet site like IGN.Thanks!
Is there a source?

The real question is if the GotY candidate The Order 1886 has sold more than RotTR. The European half year data would suggest so.
the fact is halo 5 sold way less than previous entries.
Why do you keep repeating this? He was joking lol.
And remember, Japanese games and indies don't count.
Close to 200K for Rise of the Tomb Raider? Jesus christ.
it's all about being on top of everything.
Lets just hope this does not ruin the franchise going forward.
New thread subtitle?PS4 beating X1's best month ever, Tomb Raider's uncharted, crazy ass month
Bungie started the downfall but 343 continued. They knew people hated Reach but they went even further with it in 4, then had the MCC problems. And then 5 has the worse story in the series, with a marketing campaign dedicated to something that isn't even a main focus of the story.
343 did the damage. Destiny really has nothing to do with it.
Yes but when you consider the bad sentiment toward the console, and the power of the networking effect then the ratio isn't too bad.i'm sure they are. considering the games they had for xbox. touting the best game lineup in xbox history. while they beat last year's number they couldn't come out on top against sony.
