PC/Console Multiplatform Games With Best PC Optimizations

What are some multiplatform games that were developed for and launched around the same time on both PC and older consoles that still managed to take advantage of the PC the best?

The complaints about Dark Souls 2 only getting a resolution/framerate/loading time boost made me think which games delivered a vastly superior PC game while still being developed for and released on older consoles at the same time.

Stuff like the Witcher 2 which was made for PC's only then later ported down to consoles don't count.

Can't Crysis 3 run on integrated video cards?

Also, all the MT Framework (RE5, RE6, LP1/2, DMC4, etc) games from capcom run smooth as butter on toasters.

All square Enix games released recently with ports done by Nixxes - sleeping dogs, hitman absolution, just cause 2, deus ex human revolution, tomb raider, thief (?).

I don't know about low-end optimizations, but Sleeping Dogs, Hitman Absolution, Crysis 3, Borderlands 2, Metro Last Light and Just Cause 2 were near generational leaps over their console counterparts (to varying degrees).

All of Capcom's MT Framework games have ran like fucking butter on aging hardware and look fantastic too. Left 4 Dead crossover and No Mercy mode in RE6 which doubled the enemy count. Turbo and Legendary Dark Knight mode on DMC4.

Their QLOC stuff like SF4/DmC have been great too.

I think the ports usually come a bit later on the PC, but the games with Capcom's new engine were pretty great on the PC. Things like Street Fighter IV, DMC 4 and Lost Planet.

Didn't Tomb Raider have some sexy hair effects on PC?

It looks very nice from afar (i.e. during gameplay), but the simulation trips over itself a bit during close-up shots and thus there's a distinct "uncanny valley" feel during cutscenes.

Borderlands 2.

I can play it at 1440p/60fs with almost everything maxed except PhysX on my midrange PC, but even at 1080p/60fps, which is super easy for any gaming PC, it looks spectacular compared to the console version. It was the first game I played after building a gaming PC back in August because I hadn't finished the game on the Xbox360 and was totally wow'd by it. And I still think its one of the best looking games out there.

Sleeping Dogs, I was running that at nearly max settings, often pushing over 100fps, whereas other games that looked about as good were getting closer to 60. The optimisation on that game is really good, particularly impressive with it being open world.

Also Max Payne 3, amazingly well optimised even at higher settings.
