That's what I was thinking, too. Especially on one of the most popular days of the week for gaming. I have a nasty feeling that they've been hacked. I've already locked down my card until this situation is over so I can delete my payment method.

Why does the PS5 give a “PSN is down” popup in the middle of the screen when I try to use a video streaming app like Netflix? Netflix itself loads properlyc but it’s unusable because the PS5 has to tell me ever half second that PSN is down while I’m in an app. This is asshole design.

Feels like a Cyber event to me or layoffs gone wrong. I've been working in this field for 20 years. Something is obviously fucking very wrong right now.
