Most digital games should work fine as well during the outage. I remember playing a PS+ game some time ago when my internet was down. Games that require an internet conection to play are the ones that are bricked during this time.

For example monthly passes in games like Genshin Impact that give you premium currency everyday for 30 days upon logging in.

Not being able to collect the premium currency you paid for through no fault of your own seems like a problematic issue. How will Sony even deal with this?

Im seeing my friendlist right now and i also appear online. Only thing not working right now to me is the PS Store (Can browse but cant purchase) and conecting to games that require online.
