the board members have served their purpose, they obviously can't leave, so I want to see if they legit need to find a mole.

You know, if you wanted to vote out one of the Board members to see their win con why not target the guy who lets them do NKs?

Because tbh if Kalor isn't the Mole then I'm probably lynching Acohrs the next Day Phase so they don't run around murdering people at Night.

Also killing us would be the worst outcome for town. Why? Because we can know when one of our partners is infected. Having the certainty that 3 players aren't infected is a great asset to town. Even more when the numbers are dropping.

I don't think it's going to be easy, we've had the last few lynches be determined without much argument and since the last Infected only changed today we need to look for any differences in people between this Day Phase and the previous ones. And since everyone has just been on the same page ( sort of ) it's not really easy to tell what's different. :x

I'm just holding out hope that the last Infected doesn't become Level 2 and can then Infect more people. It would break the balance if that did happen since we would need to correctly lynch the next Day Phase or else we lose, but honestly at this point I think anything goes...

I altered it when I claimed because people might take my actions differently if they knew what it was.

He is the Super Mason's killer and if they have the ability to NK uninterrupted they can very quickly reach a point where they can out-vote us ( especially if I'm dead ) and since their win is different than ours they have no reason to lynch to find the Infected.

There's so many unknowables in this game, it's baffling to me. Like, I have about 50 theories on different matters, but each one is just about as much a guess than the other.

Kalor's claim in particular is nuts. A thief who got their win condition, and was given a new role with big defensive capabilities? And what was their win condition as thief? Was it only to steal a vaccines? Or was it to swap out the vaccine with poison? Was their never a thief role, and their role was to get the board to use the poisoned injections on someone who wasn't infected?

All speculation, all possible to some degree considering we knew nothing about the possibility of these vaccines killing. Maybe they kill Stage 2 infected, and when Dusk answered Fran about the vaccines "working on any infected" just didn't specify that "work" doesn't necessarily mean "cure"? If that's the case, why did Burb also die? If a Stage 2 infected is killed does it kill the ones they infected? Wouldn't that be too OP in a game where there's already so much against the infected?

11037’s puncture wound started pulsating. It wasn’t long before a purple substance started oozing out of every orifice. 11037s movements became frighteningly still. He was petrified like granite. Finally he tipped over and fell to the floor.

You have a stage 2 infection to the Araxia virus.

Alignment:

Your alignment is to Araxia (This means scum).

Goal:

You win when all the humans are either dead or infected.

Abilities:

Recovery - You can self-heal from most injuries including death. You're also immune to Araxia. I wouldn't test my luck in the incinerator though...

Commands:

INFECT: <player> - Infect one player with the Araxia virus. Infected players will know who infected them.
KILL: <player1>,<player2> - Order <player1> to kill <player2>. <player1> must be an already infected player.

please note that you can only use one command per night phase.

Swamped and Ourobolus started looking around fervantly. Almost at the same time as if on cue, the both clutched their chests. The looks on their faces was a mixture of confusion and fear. Slowly but steadly the emotion drained out of their faces until nothing was left. They just stared forward like dolls and crumpled forward.

Also, I've already talked about his some in the spec thread but I genuinely think some of the ideas in this game were really cool and could make for a great game, just needs some more fine tuning for balance. I appreciate all the work put into this game though Dusk and anyone else that assisted. Hopefully the balance issues in this one don't discourage you from carrying the ideas forward. I would love to give something like this another shot if you end up going in that direction in a future game.

The meter was the percentage of players that were infected rounded down I believe. (So 1=10%)

I wasn't cured until night started, so I'm guessing a Stage 2 would die immediately, so whoever they infected would die too.

I still want to take a look at the big picture involved but I agree 100%. The ideas that were presented here were really cool; the huge Mason team, the Infection mechanic, the Neutral Team, and the traitor within the Mason Team. Just off the back I kinda agree it needed a bit more balance since it seemed skewed against the Infected a lot but I do see how this game could have swung in the totally opposite direction and Town would have been dead before they even had a chance to fight.

This was a cool game, though could use some fine tuning. I knew there were multiple chats since my Spy power also disclosed who my target was in chats with but I wasn't expecting a 3 and 4 person one. Also I won twice so that's neat I guess.

I don't know about the names but mine told me about multiple people having cures. It also talked about how I poisoned the director so that I could steal the cure but he took the cure when the infection broke out, accelerating the effects of the poison before I could get to him.

I really did like the game set-up, though maybe some things in place were a bit too severe, such as lvl 1 infected dying with level 2 or no checks on vaccine claiming in thread. Definitely a cool concept to start out with one or two scum and gradually create more.
