Erm, you might want to look at the language and direction of their remasters in the past couple of years. GTA VI's satire may strike a balance between left and right, but that's your best case scenario.

A lot of developers had always been diverse and inclusive in their game designs, it wasn’t a problem then so why is it now? Because there is a deliberate intent to push an ideology in games today than there ever was back then. It’s become increasingly difficult to distinguish DEI quota filling and intended art/narrative design that would’ve otherwise been accepted by most gamers in the past.

It's a run on effect. The extreme stuff that's been seeping it's way into games over the past decade has made people ultra paranoid about everything ("it stars a WOMAN? WOKE!")

Difference in writing and themes with the first RDR is night and day. The entire cringe and out of place Sadie Adler cartoon, all the random "he's the best of us all, we're luckly to have him" Lenny asslicking, just some of the stuff you would never in a million years find in the original game. You can feel the interference in the sequel from miles away.

I've spend literal thousands of hours in it, and I love it, but you would have to be literally blind to not feel the colossal difference from previous R* work.

Lets hope so, alternative is, we gonna get Grand Theft Auto: Veilguard but that shit would sell 5x fewer copies vs proper game so hopefully rockstar is aware and wont do it.

The remaster was 2015. God Of War 3 originally came out in 2010.
