Star Wars Outlaws: Official Launch Trailer

If this game had a character creator, it wouldn't be as bad. Hopefully PC has mods. Overall I am intrigued, it doesn't look awful.

Shit looks like another Ubisoft game. 6 months Ubisoft and egs exclusivity then it comes to steam with 40 percent off, will will wait 6 months.

6 months? Usually alot fast than that. Its a no brainer to wait if you actually must play ubisoft games.

Some of the gameplay trailers made this game look like trash. Definitely waiting for reviews and impressions from my neogaf brethren.

I'll get it when its on sale for $20 in a year just cause I like Star Wars games lol. Waited a year for Jedi Survivor and enjoying it a lot.

Ubisoft and Disney are the perfect combination of bland, soulless, corporate trash, so I fully expect this to be a multimillion dollar borefest, with little to recommend it above fan service to the remaining people still clinging on to Star Wars.

I wonder if it's merchandise will stick around any longer than The Acolyte's? 🤔

Why do launch trailers come out when a game is nearly 10 days away from release? Always curious about that. Sometimes 2 weeks beforehand.

I love the quotes from various publications "stunning". Well if that's what they say then I must get it.

Between Black Myth and Space Marine 2 I'm going to be tucked up for a while. Not saying I'll never play it but it'll be a way down the line when it's discounted or free on PS+.

This one releases in 5 days, unless you buy the delayed release for 70euros, some games even do a full week

You need $100 for what's essentially a space Valhalla.

I dont think i have the balls to buy this unless it were $5

EA launch is in 5 days

You get FIVE DAYS early access when you fork over another 30 bucks?

Insane. The entire game will be spoiled online before regular edition players get the chance to start playing.

This early access stuff is absolute dogshit.

what the hell is this?

The "backhand slap to knock a guy with a helmet out" will never not be funny.

Should've given her a baton like Aiden Pearce in Watchdogs, would've made way more sense than slapping dudes around.

I am gonna try it out for 20 bucks but I am not expecting great things here. Ubi has become the most mediocre company there is. And Massive? I finished Division (6/10) and Avatar (5/10).

There was also World in Conflict (9/10) but that was in pre-Ubi days so it does not count.

This game may do ok. Mainly because it releases first before packed next few months of Stalker2 ,DA, KCD2, Avowed etc. If it came out after the big boys no one would care.

Launch trailer without 4k resolution? What year is this? And again these fucking fake 21:9 bars.

Are reviews really good enough? I'm waiting for the hype phase to pass on this one.
This, plus also it's worth to wait as Ubisoft's games are quickly getting discounted. I wouldn't be surprised if this will wind up -40% off between Black Friday and Christmas

I know Ubisoft doesn't want to hear it, but I'm not playing their two big 2024 games because of the main characters. There's just too much competition and too many games to play and these games cost way too much to make to mess around and make unforced errors but they just don't get it.

The more recent previews talking about the factions system and bounty hunters coming after you and all that have me feeling prertty good about this. I had a $20 PS Stars gift card and preordered. I'm sure I can easily get $50 worth of playtime out of this after having spent more than 50 hours each in Valhalla and Odyssey. The main problem with UBI is their copy paste gameplay and UI between all their games, but their world exploration tends to be pretty great.

If the game is good, the game is good. I'll keep an eye on the reception. If things point to yes, I'll hit up Ubi+ to play it early until I complete it, and then just cancel my membership. Feels like a no brainer at this point, much like it was for PoP Lost Crown.

They got that Avatar game for $35 now. I am tempted, but it is Avatar.

I have a love hate thing with Avatar.

Still spending $70 don't ignore opportunity cost. The next game you buy will now be $20 more expensive.
I mean, I'm a middle aged guy with 22 year old kid that no longer requires support and a job that allows me to spend money on frivolous shit. I tend not to worry about it too much, but I get what you're saying. I probably spend more than I'll spend on a full priced game on a night out at a bar every few weekends. So I just skip one bar night and bam, new game.

this game will be dumped on every streaming option within a year. save your money. also, fuck ubisoft.
