Not sure how many hours in, prolly 20'ish, but so far I'd give it a 7 at best which might change only based on how the story ends/comes together.
Atmosphere-wise, I'll give it credit, its very star war'ish if thats a word, I really like the whole mood of the game and exploring it, however it's a bit diminished by how messy the engine is visually. The blur and lack of color depth is annoying tho i fixed them a bit with reshade. Theres a ton of shimmering in a lot of interior places which is fixed by using RayReconstruction, however if you use RR, vegetation and hair and other similar stuff are incredibly blurry and leave trails when moving, so I had to disable it, not to mention the fact that it cuts 50FPS in certain places without any significant visual benefit. Animations are mid af, the tiny guy is prolly where most of the animation budget went. Also the fact that I have to restart every 2hour or so due to the texture bug, that still hasnt been fixed is fucking lol.
Gameplay-wise, stealth is pretty fucking bad mechanically, but I am a stealth fan so I dont have any issues with it, I am playing on the hardest difficulty and Im ok with it. Shooting is ok, nothing really good nor bad. Like I said, I enjoy the exploration so far, finding stuff is rewarding and not extremely bloated and gearing up is ok. Ship gameplay is also kinda basic af, just pew pew and loot and thats it. WOuld've been nice to find some cool locations in space outside of the generic space stations which are all sameish, hangar, market and cantina at the end. Nothing mysterious or messed up to find, it's the most safe game I've ever played and we have to thank Disney for making this shit kids friendly. I was impressed with the wanted system with imperials, it seems to be well thought, theres severe patrols/ships flying around, they put baricades and whatnot everywhere once you get a wanted level. Far better than GTA/Cyberpunk. The reputation system is dogshit and theres absolutely no risk to it as you can safely get in good graces with everyone. Generally all games with reputation system have a bad reputation system implemented so I guess Im not surprised. Ideally it should've been one or the other, and with no way to get back in good graces with anyone once you drop to a certain point, nor should you be allowed to farm rep. It should've been quests/choices only.
Audio wise its great, fantastic soundtrack as expected from a star wars game, sounds effects all are great as well, especially love the quality of the blasters. Voice acting is ok.
Story so far is just mid, it doesnt seem to go anywhere, gather ur crew, do heist, nothing that we havent seen a million times in cinema. Side quests are unremarkable af.
