Ypu're a winner, Sir!
bingo! because that's fundamentally what it is. ratchet & clank in the star wars universe. dumb fun. like the original movie trilogy (tho, obviously, not quite as inspired)...I was going to buy this, but the more I've seen I'm now leaning towards getting ubisoft subscription and playing that way.
The game looks overly simplistic, like a kids game. It'll be a 7/10 at best. Only because it'll be fairly polished.
It's a shame as I really want a Star wars game that isn't about Jedi and the force. If this was a bit more serious and had more depth, it could have been amazing. Something like Cyberpunk 2077 but in the star wars universe.
I'll play anyway, it'll be a few days of fun hopefully.
It’s Massive and the Snowdrop engine. Look at Avatar for how the consoles handle it.no review no buy. hope it runs better than jedi survivor
Honestly, I think I'll prefer this one too. It gives me glorious The Order 1886 feel.Looks like 21:9 is the default option
no review no buy. hope it runs better than jedi survivor
From what i've seen in streams it runs great. Cant say anything about the visual quality because the stream quality was horrible all the time
Sorry, IMO it is shady as hell to pretend to sell someone something at the value proposition of a purchase only to be able to pivot it to a time limited rental later down the line, but feel free to defend £70-£120 editions of a game that has all the same problems as the Xbox one online requirement for games.Yeah so true. Were all gonna die one day so what's the point in doing anything am I right just play the game or don't who cares
How much does ubisoft sub thingy cost nowadays? Might be worth for a month just to play this on PC. (Not sure the sub with day 1 is available on console)
I'm kinda hyped for this one. Haven't read or heard anything beoynd the initial trailer. But I have been burnt by marketing before so I'll wait in actual costumer impression by folks on Neogaf before I buy it.
I'll hate doing this, but I will sub to Ubisoft Plus if it gets a 90+ MCWatch it to be a masterpiece with 94 on MC.
Really? Is that some kind of a trick to get the game for cheap?I'll hate doing this, but I will sub to Ubisoft Plus if it gets a 90+ MC
You should be in for a treat, Ubisoft have been doing the reskinning game for 10+ years.NFL, pretty excited for this. Not expecting the world, just Far Cry/AC with Star Wars skin
Will try on Ubisoft plus or whatever it’s called on Friday.
Watch it to be a masterpiece with 94 on MC.
I'm gone all week for work, so i wouldn't get to.Ubisoft plus gets you the Ultimate Edition so you can play it early.
Really? Is that some kind of a trick to get the game for cheap?
Edit: How does it work? I can't seem find anything on that matter.

this is reminiscent of the fallout tv series. i read posts by people hoping for a more gritty, grim, & dead serious version of fallout, & being disappointed that it didn't happen. but the thing is fallout's fallout because it's the way it is, just like star wars's star wars. you want a more hardcore version of fallout, or a more mature version star wars? then what you want isn't fallout / star wars. you want something else. these franchise are versions of existing genres. what you want is something else entirely, & not these particular franchises, which are what they are, inherently...True, but thats how I've always seen the Star Wars IP, I feel those who are massive fans, seem to try to force this idea for it to be something else when its never really had this history of being some super serious thing...

I think the fanfiction of what folks WANT Star Wars to be, will continue to be the fuel for them to attack other teams and publishers, while disregarding Disney will never actually do those things with the IP.
Open Critic
Saudi Gamer gave it a 7/10
"Star Wars Outlaws could have been THE Star War game. It provided a rich world and lore that kept me intrigued for hours, but the gameplay systems are not only marred by technical problems but it even lacked the execution despite the brilliant ideas it has"

Embargo up in a couple of hours (8am).
Even fucking Blizzard put Diablo IV on Steam, and the integration with Battle.net is painless.
Calling it now, he's mad it's not GTA where you can kill literally every NPC. Just like EDMIX said above. "Lacked the execution" is the call out there.
So if I understand this is not available on Steam?
Get fucked Ubi. Even fucking Blizzard put Diablo IV on Steam, and the integration with Battle.net is painless.
