Looks like 21:9 is the default option and these people with early copies doesnt bother going into the menu and change it lol

First big Ubishit game I’m avoiding day one in eons

Enjoy your gelfling helmet haired broad with the super slap attacks.

Will pick it up when it’s 30 or less. Which won’t take long I’m thinkin.

I was going to buy this, but the more I've seen I'm now leaning towards getting ubisoft subscription and playing that way.
The game looks overly simplistic, like a kids game. It'll be a 7/10 at best. Only because it'll be fairly polished.
It's a shame as I really want a Star wars game that isn't about Jedi and the force. If this was a bit more serious and had more depth, it could have been amazing. Something like Cyberpunk 2077 but in the star wars universe.
I'll play anyway, it'll be a few days of fun hopefully.
bingo! because that's fundamentally what it is. ratchet & clank in the star wars universe. dumb fun. like the original movie trilogy (tho, obviously, not quite as inspired)...

I'm kinda hyped for this one. Haven't read or heard anything beoynd the initial trailer. But I have been burnt by marketing before so I'll wait in actual costumer impression by folks on Neogaf before I buy it.

Another PS5 stream. This one is going for a while now. Quality is horrible tho

From what i've seen in streams it runs great. Cant say anything about the visual quality because the stream quality was horrible all the time

Jedi Survivor was running on a Frankenstein UE4 with stuff like RT duct taped on. This is Massive’s fourth game on Snowdrop and their last one was amazing.

I just pre-ordered it from Amazon. I'm going to take my chances that it will be good enough for a playthrough.

How much does ubisoft sub thingy cost nowadays? Might be worth for a month just to play this on PC. (Not sure the sub with day 1 is available on console)

Yeah so true. Were all gonna die one day so what's the point in doing anything am I right 😂 just play the game or don't who cares 😂
Sorry, IMO it is shady as hell to pretend to sell someone something at the value proposition of a purchase only to be able to pivot it to a time limited rental later down the line, but feel free to defend £70-£120 editions of a game that has all the same problems as the Xbox one online requirement for games.

I'll happily rent a single player non-GaaS game like this for £15 at launch, but for more than that they need to provide real ownership.

$17.99/mo for Ubisoft+ premium (which includes day one releases), available on both PC and Xbox platforms.

I figure I’ll sub for a month and give it a go on the Series X. If I like it, I will almost certainly finish it over the course of the month. If I don’t like it, I can pivot over and play the recently released Avatar DLC and Prince of Persia The Lost Crown. Or, depending on how long/short Outlaws is, I might be able to play all three.

Ah! A fellow Star Wars fashionista! I really hope that we get to see a rich variation in colour and fabrics in this game. I understand that we won't get a fashionable European snug fit with the clothes as this is frontier inspired, but I still hope that there is some sense of a tailormade wardrobe for her.

Looking forward to seeing raw gameplay/streams and hearing general feedback from reviews. I'm still keen on this but not enough to jump in early

I'll hate doing this, but I will sub to Ubisoft Plus if it gets a 90+ MC :messenger_tears_of_joy:
Really? Is that some kind of a trick to get the game for cheap?
Edit: How does it work? I can't seem find anything on that matter.

My love for Star Wars won out in the end. Looking forward to hopefully a decent time. Please be decent, I need it after the Acolyte.

With the fucking circus surrounding this game and other games releasing, I'm not using any reviews to buy anything this year (or likely next year and beyond)

We have games with 200k reviews of perfect scores after mere minutes of release and threads going pages bickering about what some "side" might think about this or that, barely even talking about the actual games themselves.

So....I don't know if I can believe anything being stated for or against the games releasing as either side seems to have their own bias.

I'm just buying what i think looks fun and calling it a day.

True, but thats how I've always seen the Star Wars IP, I feel those who are massive fans, seem to try to force this idea for it to be something else when its never really had this history of being some super serious thing.

I remember people even saying shit like what would have 1313 been and super dark etc yet the IP doesn't really have a history of this and we don't even know how 1313 would have even turned out.

I think people are obsessed with shit that never came out cause they can create this fake game in their minds that was never really ever going to exist EXACTLY like they are thinking of it, look at it like this, Star Wars games failed under Lucas Arts, Disney bought the IP, they have been more successful under EA then at any time of the history of the IP in games, people wanted EA to not have the IP, its now under more publishers, yet this idea of "man, if ONLY this team gets the IP" still remains.

People got their wish lol its now no longer JUST under EA, but they'll cry about this game under Ubisoft.

QD game will likely flop, they'll cry about that too.

This game can be made by Rockstar and people would cry about not being able to randomly kill, rob, stab people all disregarding the IP is still owned by Disney and has never supported those ideas.

I think the fanfiction of what folks WANT Star Wars to be, will continue to be the fuel for them to attack other teams and publishers, while disregarding Disney will never actually do those things with the IP.

this is reminiscent of the fallout tv series. i read posts by people hoping for a more gritty, grim, & dead serious version of fallout, & being disappointed that it didn't happen. but the thing is fallout's fallout because it's the way it is, just like star wars's star wars. you want a more hardcore version of fallout, or a more mature version star wars? then what you want isn't fallout / star wars. you want something else. these franchise are versions of existing genres. what you want is something else entirely, & not these particular franchises, which are what they are, inherently...

it's like asking for a lighthearted version of john wick. yeah, it definitely might be entertaining/amusing, but, no, it wouldn't be john wick...

Saudi Gamer gave it a 7/10

"Star Wars Outlaws could have been THE Star War game. It provided a rich world and lore that kept me intrigued for hours, but the gameplay systems are not only marred by technical problems but it even lacked the execution despite the brilliant ideas it has"

Just an excerpt ... full article is 404'd

Embargo up in a couple of hours (8am).

Subbed to Ubi+ and preloading on PC now. Hoping I can VPN to NZ in a few hours and play early like I did with Avatar.

And on the subject of Avatar, I sincerely hope this game is much, much better. What a disappointment that game was...

Calling it now, he's mad it's not GTA where you can kill literally every NPC. Just like EDMIX EDMIX said above. "Lacked the execution" is the call out there.

So if I understand this is not available on Steam?

Get fucked Ubi. Even fucking Blizzard put Diablo IV on Steam, and the integration with Battle.net is painless.

I’m going for 78.

World looks good. Standard UBI filler.

As long as it’s fun for 15 or so hours, I’ll bite.

BLizzard put d4 after a few months. Ubisoft has been releasing their games on Steam after a few months as well. It'll be on Steam in a few months as well.
