We'll see. 30 mins til embargo lifts.

We've already had people here complaining about that. Not realizing it's Star Wars and not Rebel Moon.

Star Wars was always meant to be PG and aimed for 12 year olds (that's direct from Lucas). When he made the Special Editions in 1997 he went back and re-edited shots of kills in A New Hope to lesson the laser impacts to avoid the movie being re-rated PG-13 for the re-release (because the MPAA had to assign it a new rating as it was technically a new version).

The first two Prequels were PG, and he only relented with ROTS getting a PG-13 because he needed the Anakin BBQ at the end (it still would've got a PG even with the implied child murder).

The new movies are PG-13 simply because the PG rating really doesn't exist anymore outside of animated movies, the MPAA scale slided around 2008-2010. There's nothing in the modern movies that wouldn't be PG 20 years ago.

Played the first quest (TLJ haters will LOVE this game, it starts on Canto Bight) where you first need to pickpocket credits from the Canto Bight police and sell scrap to get 100 credits to repair your data spike so you can lockpick doors. I HATE the lockpicking, it's a rhythm thing. Then you need to sneak into a night club using lockpicking and steal a data card, then you shoot your way out.

The game is made to be played in 21:9. You can play in 16:9, but it's just zoomed in and you can miss details.

Playing on XSX at Quality (40) mode and it looks amazing. Up there with the Avatar game, and better in parts.

Edit: As expected, trolls in the review thread are complaining that it's not RDR or GTA and you can't randomly kill everyone.

Black bars?

VPN doesn't appear to unlock the game in the Ubisoft app BUT you can just double click the executable in the install folder and the game boots just fine

There are FOV settings to fix that.

On PC, at least.

The density of the city was real impressive. Liked what I played so far. Will play more later.

I just hate the lockpicking.

If anybody knows... just a yes or no will do, but are there any other activities (things you can do in your free time) aside from the things seen in the previews?

PS5 version looks rough man. Fucking FSR, i hate it with passion. This one is an easy skip. Im expecting similar results for space marine 2 on console, dogshit performance and IQ

Playing it on XSX on Quality 40 and not seeing any of the FSR crap Jedi Survivor had because it’s a completely different engine and dev.

Im watching a video and even in quality mode there is a lot of fsr artifacts especially on fooliage. Its a low base resoltuion even in quality mode

correct...

the problem: so, you loved these franchises when you were a kid, & you want them to 'mature' along with you as you've grown older. not accepting the fact that these franchises are forever stuck in time: they can't mature, were never intended to, & would no longer be themselves if they somehow could. they remain there for the next generation of kids just as they were there for you: something to be treasured in childhood, & looked back up on nostalgically in adulthood...

wanting to 'mature' franchises created for kids is wanting to inherently subvert/demolish them...

To he fair it's pretty cool that you get to play as Matt Damon in Star Wars.

I'm back to my "never buy an Ubisoft title" mantra for now, I broke it for Avatar, and this is the same studio, it's amazing how disappointing that game was for me. This admittedly looks better but that mid 70's is giving me flashbacks.

Then why the fuck are you trolling the OT for people actually playing the game?

Because it's an open forum that dousent restrict comments to "people who purchased the game"

Wake up on the wrong side of the bed today or something? You can't unsee it now though right? It's literally puppet Matt Damon, every cutscene from now on where they have that awful lipsync and blank wooden faces, the words "Matt Damon" will pop up in your head.

Nah, I'm going to agree with ManaByte ManaByte on this one, why are you actually here though?

The OT is merely to talk about the game, this whole thing with using every thread to trash the game or attack users on here who just want to discuss the game is getting old.

I get you don't like the game, I don't understand the obsession of stalking every thread to keep bringing this shit up.

Want to check my post history, will give you some time, since I'm in every thread should be easy, knock yourself out.

A lot of reviews are flat out lying. If your stealth breaks you can get it back. If works like stealth in most games, find a place to hide and they’ll stop hunting you.
when it's been declared open season on beating a game into the dirt (which seems to be the case here), you can throw in as many kitchen sinks as you can come up with (real or imaginary). personally, i'm just amazed at how many people's puppies this game somehow managed to kill...

Iv watched a few reviews and most about stealth they say is that there are limited mechanics, and a pretty bad checkpoint system if you are caught. Like a regular none stealth focus stealth mechanic game, is that wrong?

Upgrades where mentioned but for example are there stealth upgrades that let you have the stun more often with the blaster as I heard it was 1 min+ or on multiple opponents to make stealth easier?
