Street Fighter 6: Graphics comparison Switch 2 vs other consoles. Direct feed footage

Ok gonna take back my word a little. Switch 2 is pretty on par if not better than PS5 here

Did they accidentally calibrate the textures to low?
No. The colors. The difference being that footage is washed out and textures look flatter as a result. Switch 2 version also has relatively low resolution textures. Not even a proper zipper on SF6 douche.

Not sure about that, but what I might be seeing in this picture is that ryu's shoulder is close enough to the camera that it might be getting dof, which doesn't seem to be active on switch at all. Textures down his centerline still seem to look better, though. Caught some more like that scrubbing through the video but I intend to have a closet look later.

99% of far away shots the ps5 has a clear edge with added sharpness and visual effects, but then you have these close up shots… weird? Weird

The Xbox Series S version of this game is a joke to the point that Ryu's beard was not visible at launch during fights. It has gimped background by removing some of the crowd, like PS4 and PS4 Pro. There is no muscle and vein details when you do the level 3 specials as well. Capcom is at fault here, as they completely neglected the system… Heck, even on the PC portables you can have those on. The PS4 level textures cannot be excused.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version has way higher texture detail, but looks like it misses on subsurface scattering that's why the characters have the full of pores, chunky faces. There is also a hint of reduced number of polygons/geometry on Chun-Li's shirt. It lacks DoF, and the backgrounds are also missing some of the crowd. Looks very competent for a portable device.

PS5 has the complete visual package. But for whatever reason the close ups in the menus seem to have a filter on top of it that lowers the overall resolution, or even these are just rendered in a low resolution. XSX is the same. When you get to a fight, they are pristine again.

I think the skin textures are next gen on Switch 2 relative to Series S (as it has simpler PS4/XBONE textures). Everything else is about the same though with some effects absent.

The thing everyone was talking about here is that the switch is beating the ps4. Now people are defending the ps5 version against the switch?! 😂

Again it's crazy how sharp clean the hair is on switch compared to ps2 and even 5 version! That's got to be a Nvidia vs Amd thing. DLSS
Yeah it's somehow resolving more finer hair detail…even thought it's much lower res, look at blanka's beard and forearm hair. Interesting

I find it hilarious that Sony PS5 owners have their eyeballs inches away from their monitors, trying to see the difference between it and Nintendo's 40 watt handheld.

damn, I am eating my words of two days ago, Switch2 not only smokes the ps4, it cooked series S version too, and it is making all ps5 owners counting pixels as if they were DF employers.

Hands down, no trolling and jokes aside... I have no idea how this is possible, DLSS might be doing some heavylifting or Nintendo forgot this is a handheld when docked and upped the power draw to 40W plus. Unbelievable to witness.

Great showing for Switch 2 in this case.
Visual settings seem to be closer to PS4 but the actual sharpness is better than PS5. DLSS doing what Fsrn't (?)

Well, they upped the power above 40w as I just realized today... But yeah, feels like between current and last gen settings with DLSS lifting the IQ above current gen consoles... Not sure and I need confirm but would be hilarious to see that being the case
