Switch 2 is much more obvious to the average dumbass consumer. Everyone knows that an iPhone 15 is newer and better than an iPhone 14. The "Super" naming doesn't communicate the "sequel" idea nearly as well.

I would've preffered that honestly. But at the same time,I can see why they went with the safe iteration route. The masses are dumb as bricks so the easier you make it for them to understand it's the "new" thing,the better.

Plus after the Wii U confusion disaster I bet they were shaking in their boots coming up with the right name.

A wise decision, given that the average consumer is a fucking retard. Going with anything other than Switch 2 just means a repeat of the Wii U situation.

Sadly correct unfortunately.

Super Switch is a way cooler name IMO but I can 1000% see idiots conflating “Super” as just “same Switch but bigger” (eg what they did with N3DS)
