The Switch 2 feels like a repeat of the Famicom/Super Famicom transition, but with a massive improvement (BC)

Nintendo could literally shit out a small soft turd on a napkin and serve it in front of their fanbase and there would still be people willing to swear it's the most exciting shit ever seen.

Lmao. You’re the one arguing the Switch 2 is likely to be a Wii U situation. A colossal failure.
Except that I never said this.

Wii to Wii U was exactly the same thing as what is being praised in OP : an iterative console with more power and BC. Speaks about NES to SNES for the iterative aspect, good. But it was also the case of Wii to Wii U, which is my point. And Wii U was BC on top of it.

Doesn't mean that I said, nor think, that this is going to be like Wii U in terms of sales. This is you projecting, nothing else.

Looks like I misinterpreted your comment, reading it again. My bad

That said, different situation from the Wii U. Branding is much clearer now, and the strategy Nintendo is following seems more akin to the path both PS and Xbox took. Basically more power, but also faster I/O.
