The Callisto Protocol just received a PS5 Pro Patch | 8K@30fps and 4k@60fps | Ray Tracing on Both

NXgamer has published his analysis, but it's still in early access for a few days. Based on this screenshot however it seems that the RX6800 on PC cant provide the same experience.

This guy with his PCs that strangely always underperform? You don't say.

He explained why the PS5Pro performs so well. The PS5 version uses medium shadow settings and a lower amount of rays compared to DXR on PC, also dynamic resolution can go as low as 800p. His RX6800 PC was running fixed 4K 85% TAA.

No one would. Just trying to figure out what the cost-to-benefit ratio is.
Well for $1000 someone would be better off getting a 7600/7800 XT combo. But I'd say it would be best to wait for the upcoming RDNA4 GPUs next month if someone wants the best bang for buck.

8K 30fps mode is rendering at dynamic 6K (5184x2916p), 4K 60fps mode 2240x1260p

Ended up playing it all the way on the 8k mode. Even at 30 it was solid and not a big deal with the style of game and combat. It looks incredible. Too good to bother with the 60fps mode. Might depend on your TV but it was smooth all the way through.
