Probably June/July
Has there ever been a Nintendo console released in the summer?
Probably June/July
That's the most meh console reveal of all time. Literally just "here's our new Switch which is exactly like the old Switch but a tiny bit different".
And if that game is MK9, it also looks exactly like MK8.
Yes, Famicom, SNES, Gameboy and Gameboy Advance. June/July/August!Has there ever been a Nintendo console released in the summer?
A part of me wonders if they will want to keep him on board "essentially" retired but for the optics of having the Legend there.
Like a you were too successful to let go home type deal. You can, but there will be ninjas there to carry you back for a press release.
Would you pay premium to get the OLED version if they came out with both LCD and OLED at launch?LED or OLED - which is it
depends on the price point but i would consider itWould you pay premium to get the OLED version if they came out with both LCD and OLED at launch?
It's Mario Kart 8 Double D's.That's what I was wondering. Graphically it looks almost identical to MK8DX, but that looks like a new track?
Is this Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Deluxe? lol.

N64 released in Japan in June as well.Yes, Famicom, SNES, Gameboy and Gameboy Advance. June/July/August!
So, assuming that the BotW remaster is real, would it be expected to look like the 2015 teaser now?
Or would that be too much of an overhaul? I assume they must’ve put ant least some effort into it if they’re bothering with a remaster when the system is B/C.
Virtual Boy in August!N64 released in Japan in June as well.
I’d be super surprised if it doesn’t happen at this point given the codename leaks, that have all been spot on thus far.I don’t think the remaster is real. Nintendo is more likely to do a definitive edition. How much sales would they be expecting for a remaster, when BotW is still selling and also BC!
With that type of upgrade graphics it’s more likely to be in new Zelda.
I signed up for the one in Paris. With my luck I won't get selected, but I doubt I'll have better stuff to do on a Sunday morning anyway.I got an email to sign up for the hands-on experience of it. I was considering it but yea doesn't feel like something I have to go and see.
Yeah exactly. I don't see the big selling point.I don’t think the remaster is real. Nintendo is more likely to do a definitive edition. How much sales would they be expecting for a remaster, when BotW is still selling and also BC!

This time though, it comes from a retailer named Newegg. On their site, you can find a listing for an eShop gift card. The gift card mentions the new Mario Kart game that Nintendo announced, but for some reason, they also mentioned a “3D Mario” and a “Legend of Zelda remake/remaster”.
Wind Waker was listed in a Russian store last year. Could be that!![]()
Rumor: Retailer mentions “3D Mario” & “Zelda remake/remaster” on eShop
The rumors for the Switch 2 have decreased by a lot since Nintendo finally revealed the console last week. However, that doesn’t mean that the rumors have stopped completely. The hardware may be…mynintendonews.com
Sounds promising. Hope the Zelda one is Windwaker
I'll be happy if they make OoT 3DS version available, I want to play with better character models tbh.![]()

No official remaster could hold a candle to what you can do nowadays with an emulator and custom textures and shaders. If they know where the money is at, they'll make a full remake of OoT on a completely different engine, with larger fields, revamped combat, re-imagined dungeons, etc. (hey, a man can dream, can't he?)![]()

i wouldn't mind ocarina and majora's mask collection , i have not played them only recently picked up a 2ds to try them out but wouldn't mind seeing them on a big screen with some enhancements.
i hope they bring over nds and 3ds games to the online service saves them needing full on remakes and they would work i mean emulators can play 3ds and nds games shouldnt be an issue with the switch espically in docked mode if you uses one of the joycon and a stylus.
probably everyone is NDA'ed to the gillsSo.. Are the 3rd party floodgates open now or would there be any reason for them not announce their games coming to Switch 2 before the April presentation?
This is so important, isnt the Switch game sales like 50% physical? Keeping classic console gaming alive. Really hope PS6 has a disc drive addon. Even better if they make the PS5 disc drive work with it.Sight of relief as a physical collector for the Switch

Serious question since I haven't had a Nintendo system in ages :
How do they treat BC ? Meaning, will Switch 1 games run better (framerate/resolution) on the 2 or will we have to buy the switch 2 "hd remaster" version of a game?
Thanks manNo one knows outside of it being hardware compatible, so the carts will just natively work. As far as benefits, we'll see soon! April 2nd we should find out this information I'd imagine.

For example, will BOTW now run at 60fps or just at a-not-shit, stable 30fps ?
Edit : when will we have more news on the hardware and upcoming games?
A month away from announced! Are they starting the Adverts?
