Well there it is. Microsoft has officially lost it. I have series x and plenty of games for it so i wont be selling it but after seeing this ad its clear they will never make traditional home console ever again and its sad. End of an era indeed.

Regardless i still think they are hinting about every device where you can play xbox games being an xbox and this includes nintendo and playstation

You can log in on any of these devices and play your Xbox library or GP. It's a brand name for the ecosystem app. This is literally exactly what PS is going to be doing too so I hope everyone on here admits how much of a hypocrite they are when that happens. You guys are complaining about enhanced compatibility and smart delivery. It's awesome to be able to log in to any device and it automatically works and syncs up. The fact that it's not a box is the dumbest argument I've ever heard. I expected dumb on here but this truly exceeds my expectations.

They're happy to sell games on Switch and PS. But they're not "an Xbox" because they're talking about the ecosystem log-in.

I can log into Gmail and Google Cloud on many devices, doesn't make it a Gmail or Google Cloud.

Enjoy researching which version to download on PS5 since it can't even automatically handle that without system issues. All this is, is smart delivery across all devices. That's awesome. When PS does it you will think it's awesome as well. You already can see the PS UI and trophy set up on Ghost of Tsushima on PC. You guys are literally stuck in the past and blinded by console warring. You're going to cheer on this exact thing soon.

Saying like that's a bad thing, when you can select which version you want if you want to play PS4 versions sometimes with a better fps. You're an odd cat, aren't you.

A big problem (apart from many others) that MS/Xbox and mainly its shameful marketing "super team" has is..... thinking that the people or actors they put in their advertising videos represent in some way the general and most numerous video game user....

Regarding the campaign, I can't think of a worse time to launch it and there are millions of better ways to remind people that you can play Xbox and Xcloud games via Gamepass on different devices without having to hurt even more the value of your own console in the eyes of potential buyers and the feelings and security of its users. Especially the most loyal ones.🤷🏻
