How is Koihime Musou? I'm wanting something with a bit of gameplay to it but is still a VN.

I liked it, the gameplay is rather simple though, and there isn't much of it so if that's your main reason for playing it, you might be disappointed. that being said I loved the characters and CGs, as well as some of the music choices which stand out.

I hadn't realized how much of a boon would be MG selling their normal versions through Steam would be. Applying all discounts and after all was said and done I paid $310 MXN (around $17 USD) for it, while its normal price tag is $40 USD. Should be needless to say that I'll probably keep buying their games this way whenever possible lol.

I liked it, but I only ever finished one route. Will definitely scratch that gameplay itch, tho. If you want a good game, too, I recommend Eien no Aselia (Aselia the Eternal). Game does get complicated at the end, btw.

Didn't expect so many Vita VN announcements. Not that I haave anything against the little beauty but I thought it would be really dead in 2018.

After reading through the list and analizing it, I'm the most excited for:

Damekoi. This one being a somewhat older title I had lost some faith of it ever reaching us in English. Glad I was wrong! (and that I asked for it two years straight!)
MML: more stuff from moonstone, so I'm in lol.
Evenicle: Same, but replace moonstone for Alice Soft.

Also, Princess Evangile WH comes out on the 28th of this month. I see a bleak future in front of me already. Why did Dal Segno, Trails of Cold Steel and PEWH had to come out during the same month!?

mangagamer's going into game development holy shit, in collaboration with Itaru Hinoue, seems like a moege to me, tentative name "Kurupukkuru" or something

Which of these are non-H? Don't know any except thr last one.

The second to last one is completely new (as in, not even the Japanese folks knew of this one) so it's not surprising. As for your question, only the last two. The Itaru Hinoue project will probably be all ages, too, but since it's still in development we don't really know for sure.

Good to know, thanks.

I need your opinions, I want the umineko hard copy, but I would like to know some things.
I'm european, do they ship here? is there any other possibility or shop to buy it? Also it comes with the game disk, steam key and reversible cover, but does the game disc work without having to put the steam key? or is like the games you have to introduce the steam key for the disc to work?
I want the game but have my fears about the release.

You won't need a Steam key just as you don't if you buy Umineko digitally from MangaGamer's website, the key is just a bonus. They ship to Europe too. Jlist usually carries MangaGamer's hard copies as well.

Thank you very much for the fast and perfect answer, might grab it because I've read many good things (and some bad too) about umineko, howe many chapters does umineko have in total? I love playing visual novels on vita but I don't think they are going to port it to the platform.

Thought Itaru Hinoue was the author of Morgana D:
Well, maybe he (?) will still announce something if he has his own panel, after all their other two guests have...

As usual nothing mindblowing for me, but it's good to see Umi receive an hard copy, if I didn't already own it on PS3 I'd probably jump for it.
And more Alicesoft is good, someday will finally be the time for Sengoku.

Now waiting for SubaHibi from FW.

Huh?
Not seeing anything about Chiru on their twitter. :\

Some sites are reporting that, maybe it was told informally during the hard copy announcement...

She's the character designer for a bunch of Key stuff (Clannad etc). You're thinking of Keika Hanada.

So about Higurashi and Umineko. They're two different games, right? Which one is best? Is none of them complete?

Yeah, two different games. They're fairly different beasts - Higurashi is focused on horror, while Umineko is more about the mystery. Neither of them are complete in that MangaGamer hasn't officially released the latter parts, but they're working on it and you can probably find the older translations on the internet (the official ones are just touched up from those). I haven't played Umineko so I can't comment on that, but Higurashi is great so far.

Umineko starts out way slower than Higurashi due to having a much larger main cast, but once that's out of the way things get a lot more interesting (and way, way more meta... in a good way).

Hanada don't have any other panel with MG. But nonetheless we may hear something at Sekai project panel later today, they are the ones who brought Hanada to LA after all.

Sekai panel starting

Highway Blossoms is getting a full voice patch, including for 18+ content

Baldr Sky is still coming, mid 2018 is the current target.

Nanairo Reincarnation coming to Steam
Koi ga Saku Koro Sakura Doki is coming out this Fall
Although these are likely updates for already announced games.

It seems like there's no stream or anyone live tweeting SP's panel.

Yeah there's a lack of much except for SP's own handle.

They said they're saving the best stuff for the very end of the panel anyway. So far it's just random moe game announcements I don't care about (Dracu Riot, stuff like that).

Dracu Riot got licensed? I suppose that explains why the fan project on fuwa never released a final patch.
