With the massive gap between the 5080 and 5090, it seems probable that Nvidia is going to release a 5080 TI, likely within the next 10 months.
I'd guess is that it's going to have 24 Gigs of memory, will have equivalent performance to the 4090 (maybe 5% faster), and will have an MSRP of $1300. That would mean that by the time it comes out, the price/performance improvement over the 4090 would only be about 20% in 3 years. That's obviously crap, but I don't think we can expect anything better from Nvidia these days.
Of course I'm not basing this on anything other than pure speculation, and I'm curious to know what other people think the specs/price would be.
