I will do for Kirby the Forgotten Lands since they are adding new story to the game.

Better disconnect my computer from the internet before they remove it from mine too!

These games are playable on the Switch 2 with no cost.

But, if the upgrades are impressive then $10 MAX!!!

Don't be fucking greedy Nintendo. Don't be a Sony. MS at least has Smart Delivery and no upgrade fee.

20 is a lot, but then you look at that Mario Party upgrade and it's essentially a massive DLC with tons of new shit. Asking 10-20 for that is fine.

Simple res bumps and fps unlocks should be free, but I'd pay 10 bucks for a couple games that have atrocious IQ on Switch (already mentioned Xenoblade)... on the other hand I have already played them on an emulator. So I would prolly skip the paid upgrades.

Yes buy a $2000 PC to avoid a $10 upgrade, amazing.
Ryzen 5 5600
16GB RAM DDR4
1T Nvme
RTX 3060ti
MB TUF B450M
PSU Corsair 750W

Now, this PC ll run Yuzu at 4k@60 and almost any modern game at 1440p@60, now tell me again that you need a $2000 Pc to run Yuzu at 4k@60

Probably not. But depends on DLC attached to it. I already put too many hours into Zelda. Not going to play it again.

If I have beaten the game, 10 bucks would be too much and probably won't do it. If I have not beaten the game, maybe. But 20 dollars.. no.

Nah, if I get any of the upgrades it'll be because I bought the retail Switch 2 Edition version of a game I haven't already played on Switch (1).

Its in line with the other so its fine. I will only upgrade what I haven't played

I no longer replay games that I finished like I used to

So I guess Nintendo had the right idea whem they sued Yuzu and had it shut down, emulation does hurt their sales.
You can use emulators like Yuzu and dump the data from an original copy to your pc to run the game while using a legal version. That's how I've been playing switch games this whole generation while in better performance and graphics. Yuzu and others are godsend even for users with legal copies.

Wasn't a fan of it when Sony did, especially for games that already been co-developed for PS5 in mind and didn't need extra work and it was practically 10 bucks for unlocking graphic options.

Some things, though, are unbearable for me. Like waiting 30sec for GT7 to load a track. Or the edge shimmering and low resolution of Zelda BotW and TotK. So probably will pay for an upgrade.

The only morally correct answer.

I'll buy a Switch 2 after it's hacked.

How is it morally correct?

If you don't like the price of something then you don't buy it. You go without said thing because you either can't afford it or disagree with the price.

But you're not entitled to steal something just because you disagree with the price - that's actually immoral and nothing more than sorely misplaced entitlement. I mean you can make a moral argument for stealing essentials or for survival but videogames are luxury non-essentials.

Chump change. Probably won't for BOTW because just watching the upgrade video was enough to put me to sleep.
