I thought Nintendo had announced a Metroid Prime 4 Direct and all the posts were going to be people bitching about the lack of Switch 2 news.

If it is a cross gen game like BOTW and I'm struggling to get a Switch 2 I'll play it on the switch as I have a voucher waiting for it but if the switch 2 does off graphical and performance improvements then I'd obvious prefer to play that better version.

Well DEI applies more to organisations that games.

It's shocking how many people do not understand this at all. They really believe companies get ESG money for making diverse characters and woke content in their video games.

Because the platform isn't announced yet. Currently the game is only announced for Switch, so they'll show the Switch version.

Once Switch 2 is announced, then Switch 2 footage can be shown. This applies to any game.

Exactly, it doesn't have to have anything to do with content in games. My company has lots of DEI initiatives, but they basically have nothing to do with our actual products.
