it has 12GB LPDDR5 memory. 2GB most likely reserved for the OS. maybe only 1.5, depending on how many features are adding or not.

It doesn't need DLSS. Newly revealed patents have shown that Nintendo might have been working on their own dynamic tech. This was discussed on the latest DF Weekly.

Yeah I saw that. I'm just saying it's only "free marketing" as long as you at least somewhat control the narrative.

MicroSD Express is a good thing. 256GB UFS SSD capacity that can't be upgraded is a bit of a bummer. 800MB/s for microSD Express and 2100MB/s for internal storage is decent. Hell even regular microSD isn't too bad with PS4/Steam Deck level games that can be CPU-bound during loading.

Only, it's not a secret? They've said themselves that they're going to announce a new console soon (before the end of the fiscal year, right?)

I get that it's frustrating for a lot of us here that they can't just announce the thing, and while it looks embarrassing and amateurish to have third-party companies showing accessories for their unannounced console, it's not like that's going to impact their sales at all.

Also, how many of the (casual) Switch players which make out the majority even notice these leaks? I don't see a big reason for Nintendo to react or even care.

Well this isn't really shocking, they did say it would be BC to Switch so.

It seems like it really was suppose to get revealed today and lots of companies already have things in their systems and marketing ready etc.

So sounds like Nintendo had some contracts locked for the 8th and maybe they should have had a clause that if they didn't reveal on the 8th those companies would get held off from having some of that data released, ,marketing released etc

Sd cards I'm not bothered about,great if they are fast or whatever.
I'm more dissapointed about the joy con charger.so it's basically confirmed it's going to be the same old joycons we have had for 8 years with a minor appearance change.
The switch joycon/controller is just so horrible to hold and disconnecting them still feels like the wii days.
