Digital only release, only includes one platform sales (no PC sales) and this is for October.

BG3 digital sales likely dropped off after it's September release, hence a physical announcement.

Between lack of digital and the $70 price of most other games, we're going to see fewer and fewer Nintendo games in these charts (and games from other publishers that don't share digital).

If you look at their two most popular franchises Halo and Gears of War... they don't own either company who developed those games.

I'm actually surprised they're still selling any discernable number of units.

Just a theory, but I've always thought the number of 360s sold were due to double and triple counting sales due to red ring of death. The period in time where 360 started to really sell more than the PS3 didn't really make much sense as it was when Ps3 was starting to hit its stride with games. These games sold significantly better than anything that was sold on the 360 despite the "larger" userbase.

Where do we know the 360 didn't outsell the PS3? In Europe, where the warranty laws are more stringent.

The period when 360 started doing super well was the launch of Kinect, which had a huge effect on 360 sales. It led to the console having a better late life performance than almost any other platform.

That was what convinced MS to bundle Kinect with every Xbox One.

Microsoft isn't going to make everything exclusive over the next few months. Its going to be a while before we start to see the first ABK exclusives. And that's assuming they even help improve sales.

I guess specs and price werent really the problem with the xbox brand. Maybe it was the games.
