I pulled a random shader during a quest but it was absolutely hideous so the better ones might drop randomly.
because they look the best and feel rewarding as hell when played right.
not tied to levels, but tied to experience (the blue circle around the power). its sooo tough going back to a singlee jump, no grenade, andd no super.

yea blade dancer is reallly not for clearing mobs. cover your ass when you get swarmed, or use invisibility to escape. it's also good for quickly grabbing ammo without being seen or dodging enemies to revive teammates. but i definitely wouldn't jump headlong into a high level battle with it.
I'd be more than ok with this, salvage is really fun.

Triple jump is the greatest feeling tbh.
salvage is fun, but you gotta go in with a fireteam to actually make it work.

I've received the "Achilles" shader from PvP and "18327496-64703388" (Amazing name) shader from leveling my Cryptarch. I think I got "Cytherian Bloom" from doing the Vanguard playlist.

The art design in this is fucking beautiful. Just hopped onto Venus for the first time...each location impresses more than the previous one. The artists on this team deserve a raise, shiiiit.

you say that now... but you'll be thinking about trip mine grenade, triple jump, and goldengun + combustion that you could have while you are struggling to make simple jumps and cant explore where you want at all.

Oh nice, upgrading the defense of legendary gear increases that gear's amount of Light as well. Just went from level 24 to 25. Don't know if that goes for rares too.

PSO had a much larger range of random rares to get and they limited a lot of them to set areas and difficulties, Destiny however throws most of that out the window.
PSO also did the whole engram get weapon checked by a npc better, you could use the item but it's abilities were locked behind ??? until it was checked, in Destiny you change a purple to a shit blue by dice roll.

There are several weapons and other things that I think need to be adjust differently for each mod. ARs and shotguns are good in PvE, but PvP? I still feel like they need to be adjusted.

Hey, heres a thought then, DON'T MAKE THE ENGRAMS PURPLE. Instead of giving us Purples rarely and having them mostly turn into blues howabout give us pruples EVEN RARER and make them AT LEAST a purple not to piss everyone off who actually manages to get one?

Obviously there should be matchmaking for heroics and raids. It's not like there being matchmaking stops people from making their own groups for better organized play. It's not an either-or situation.
Also purple engrams should be a guaranteed purple with a lower loot chance to balance it out. That way the player will only have positive experiences opening it instead of being pissed off because it was a blue.

It's so annoying:
The Density APP on the phone you can view the tower vendors and look at what's being sold... you can see some of the item stats (not light points it seems) but you can't see how much items cost.
On the bungie.net website you can see how much items cost but you can't see the item's stats.
So you need both the website and the app and it still doesn't tell you everything. :/

It can definitely get more done than the golden gun, but I prefer poppin' heads to slicin' them.
cant say that without experiencing all gunslinger offers. i tell you what though, i think, at least on paper, you are right. i love the movement options of bladedancer as well as that awesome super. gunslinger also has a great super, but the rest of it is kinda meh. throwing knives are only ok

Yeah? I've been having a blast with Salvage and Control. Maybe it's because I don't play many competitive FPS games, but the Crucible stuff seems great to me.
Combined Arms should have been in the game from the start.

Yeah this is a fantastic game for people like myself who love taking my time and admiring beautiful, scifi colorful futuristic scenery. Although I have some serious issues with the game, they can mostly be fixed relatively simply (vs say having to redo the engine or environments to look great). First thing they need to do is put the lore into the game, would be so easy to unlock diaries/texts/audio logs etc in the environment.
Its quite shocking that this is a cross gen game. It really doesnt feel compromised to me like most games do that do this..

I disagree. Then again I've always been simple to please with playlists, team deathmatch all the way. Why do you think it's lackluster?
I'm not saying it's not, I'm just being selfish because I've barely touched PvP and don't want my sexy Bladedancer nerfed.
this is the one thing i dont get and should be fixed. why would a colored encoded engram give you a different colored item? if its blue it ought to unlock blue, if its purple, purple. whats the reasoning behind randomizing even that?

Correct. You still level abilities and XP you gain is turned into Motes of Light.
