I thought this was a discussion thread, not an "everybody blindly dislikes the things I like" thread.
This is all I have to do while I farm Nexus, because this is the PvE endgame we were given at launch.
Also, if you take a look at Bungie games in the past, they've done this exact thing with Halo. They place a limit on the number of playlists available at a time with an excuse that it's to ensure a stable population in the playlists available, even though a playlist doesn't exactly have to be thriving in order to find like 9 other players to play with.
there's nothing to spend it on. that's the bigger issue by far. glimmer either goes to aesthetics or directly into the cryptguy's pockets

There's also a a couple threads dedicated to taking a shit on the game.
Faction marks. I would not spend glimmer on anything else.

I feel like you need a set of legendaries to get level 26, tho. The rare/blue items seem to cap out at +15 Light. I got a +21 exotic helmet, +20 legendary pair of gauntlets, and +15 set of rare chest armor and boots.
okay I don't care about the gear, but encounters, tricks, bosses
yeah ish, something like that. the vendor gear is all +20.
no, I wish it gave you three, and made it a journey instead of an arena mission, I would have loved to carry that thing through a cave, destroying everything in my path.

Factions are just another set of vendors selling specific items you only get from them. When you're doing any activity like Bounties or Strikes that would increase your "Vanguard Reputation" or "Crucible Reputation" you level up your Faction instead, if you have that respective Faction's class item equipped. Leveling your Faction to higher ranks is required to buy their items.
Yes, you can switch between them whenever you want to by wearing their class item.
You do and that's why it's bullshit that legendary engrams which are already hard enough to get can turn into blues. That basically made my progress in this game completely stop.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you do as well. I have a full Argus set which is apparently the best in Rares (if that video detailing the exclusive content was correct), and it only takes me to 24.

Side note: The app saves you some time by letting you check vendors without running to them!
OT3 already? Sheesh. I just finished the level 26 weekly with another player and with ARC damage multiplier on, it goes so easy. Finished in about 15ish minutes. I'm gearing up slowly but surely, got a Legendary primary pulse rifle and shotty and just picked up a body piece from New Monarchy once I reached level 2. Oh, and picked up the exotic arms from that vendor yesterday. Think I'll go get my laptop tomorrow so I can post up some pics and be more active in the thread so I can help some folks out to get dat gear lol.
you definetly want to do that by handing stuff in rather than buying. you get more rep and its far easier than farming glimmer, since when your getting engram drops you are also likely getting boatloads of glimmer.
Yeah getting the trophy for public events is going to be tough. I've only got one gold tier event completed so far

Some bounties reset if you die, and in heroic daily missions you can't respawn unless a teammate revives you. That's about all I've seen so far for death penalties.
Don't waste it buying his shit. I bought like 10 items and it moved maybe a millimeter.
