Yeah, seems like it's a lot less worth it all around compared to the beta. Which is too bad because I rather enjoyed doing the loot box farming thing in Old Russia.

Holy shit. Just finished the weekly strike on Mars. It took hours (and I didnt even get any exciting loot).
Just me and one other guy, both level 16. Third guy quite halfway through, game never filled the spot. Made it very difficult for us, especially since we were underleveled in the first place.

Does anyone know exactly how this radar works? What I mean is, are there ways to be hidden off of it? I'm convinced it is all seeing but sometimes I see things that lead me to believe otherwise...

Is that reliable though? Haven't tried it out yet myself, still doing crucible bounties lol.
Crouching similarly to Halo takes you off radar. But in this game, it's only temporary. Bright red means they are on your level, dim red means they are above or below.

What are you talking about? The Speaker shows his eternal gratitude by bestowing you a single mote of light, while selling items for 23 motes. Such a generous man.
The damage is normalised but the bar graph stats matter in relation to the weapon. So impact (damage per bullet) with a hand cannon is still very important.
Is that the patrol starting point?
Nothing works until another withdrawal thread is made, but we kinda can't do that now because the game is out and that Crack is instantly available... >.>

Meh I like 11 rounds more then 8. I'll stay with what I got. Maybe use it for pve
Mine is only a level 16. Works well enough for me though. With headshots, it 1 shot kills any underling enemies (Dreg, Vandals, Goblins, Hobgoblins, Acolytes, etc).
I just got it without dealing the killing blow. I think it just glitched on you

You got a speech and you also got the unique rifle as a prize. Actually a very cool weapon. Best if you beat the game at 20 so the wep matches your level so it's pretty potent with some nice upgrades.
This was a massive project from the jump, the ending to this game is just letting you know that
the traveller is now awake and healing

A blade dancer can gain temporary invisibility after crouching for a few seconds which completely takes you off the map for the 5 seconds or so that it lasts. I think you can even go sprinting around then and it won't show you at all until the invisibility wears off.
My buddy wasn't getting any drops either. I guess it could have been server-side fixed?
I want to save this for a bigger overview post but the story didn't resolve itself very well; the inherently open nature of the mission takes away from building urgency or a sense of threat. This is, unfortunately, something I don't think open-world games will ever be able to accomplish.
I think the Cabal suffer the most from lack of exposition. Next up is The Fallen, who you grow to like a bit more as the story goes on, but suffer from a fairly weak introduction. Vex and Hive get the most attention and are resultingly pretty awesome in their own right.
I do love the universe though. Atmosphere and world building are otherwise top notch.
