Keeping it on rotation makes sure that people actually play it and keeps certain game modes from being deserted once the massive wave of players moves on to the next big shinny game.

How do you use it? Aim down sight and go for headshots? I can't do much with HC.

use the glimmer bonus consumables and go on strikes. a lot of pvp (if you're any good)
i've hit the cap from 0 twice now and haven't farmed once
Yeah definitely :-/ worthy! I've yet to see a legendary or exotic weapon or armor in the game, much less obtain one. Lvl 24.

This isn't unique to Destiny; when you unlock an achievement, the system seems to send a message off to a remote queue for some sort of validation. Normally the message is picked up immediately and your console is notified (or notices? not sure if it's push or pull) right away.
Sometimes though they take a bit to be picked up. I once had an achievement-- in Wolfenstein: The New Order-- take almost three weeks to reflect in my "gamer score." And the notification never did "pop" on my console; I just noticed that I'd finally been given credit for it.
I Call BULLSHIT.

We've got weekly and daily caps on various things necessary to get geared up for a raid that isn't out until a week after release, so we can prepare ourselves for a playlist that isn't out until a month later, so we can prepare ourselves for DLC.

Well it seems like that way. I had a bounty for killing the main man in the Strike at Venus but never completed it because I didn't deal the killing blow =/

Raids will give you set pieces of loot, or at least that's what they are supposed to.
Cabal are the best. The first mission on mars, when you get to see and fight the Cabal the very first time, gave me chills because the music and their appearance felt very intimidating.
Who would have thought they would be the most enjoyable enemies to kill. It's like popping heads off teddy bears.....cute fuzzy bears
Damn it is so satisfying to pop them in the face and watch their helmet explode into a spray of gasses as they collapse to the ground.
Just overall a badass race. Wish they were more prominent. Hopefully the future war to come is with the Cabal mainly. Chaingun wielding tank piloting badasses that are fun to kill

I think it would have been awesome if class items gave extra attributes. So far it seems like an extra slot for the hell of it. I got a rare warlock bond but I don't see the point of equipping it. Would love it there were traits like adding discipline or reducing reload time on certain weapons
